Great Sermon! Nothing like testimonies to summon great praise to our Sovereign God. What a great work He is doing on the earth! How merciful He is to save sinners! "I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance." (Luke 15:7) I join with the heavenly joy over these lost souls that have now been found in Christ!
Encouraging Sermon! I'm blessed to be reminded of the power of God's word. Many good points are made and many Scriptures used in this lesson. We must indeed be careful what we believe about God's word. Many today do act like God's word needs our help, sugar coating, if you will. It really is sad and it really is a disgrace to our Lord who bought us.
Great Sermon! Well studied, well presented and thought-provoking. Listen to this sermon for a carefully studied Biblical alternative to the modern popular American view of "Anti-Christ".
Excellent Sermon! This is a sermon we all need to hear. What could be worse then drifting away from our first love, our first works? It can happen so subtly. I'm thankful for this sermon and wake up call.
Excellent Sermon! This sermon blessed me a lot because of the balance it brings to the assurance of my salvation and the need to not become presumptuous. I believe that it's a much needed sermon for today when so much is taken for granted. I have a renewed sense of fear and watchfulness and that is a very good thing for which I'm thankful.
Great Sermon! There is a lot of good information in this sermon. Who the workers (of verse two) were is interesting, I had thought of them as being outside the church. The explanation of the mutilation (verse two) is also very good. The teaching on alien righteousness at the end of the sermon is a comfort to my heart, God in Christ does it all.
Outstanding Sermon! I didn't know these verses of Scripture were a hymn. This is an excellent sermon. I'm always blessed by Pastor Marquedant's teaching. It is my prayer to have this same mind that was in Jesus my Savior. To God be the glory!
Great Sermon! "For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake," These words, taken from Phil. 1:29 sure don't sound like the message you hear today from the majority of churches. This is a very pratical sermon.
Great Sermon! It's frightening to hear of people falling in their later years. I love this sermon, I was hanging on every word. It's obvious that this Pastor has a great love and knowledge of the O.T. This series in the Kings of Judah has been a blessing and I'm looking forward to more.
Great Sermon! Good title to a great sermon. It is indeed vital that we strive together for the gospel and not strive with each other over non essentials. I Like what the Pastor said, something like, if you're striving with each other then no one wins, we need to be willing to give up our rights and be of the same mind in the Lord.
Excellent Sermon! There is a good lesson here to remember, and that is that we need to be careful how we present God to the lost. Are we misrepresenting God to others?? Thank you Pastor for this much needed message.
Great Sermon! I like this sermon. The illustration of sin being like an old friend that has betrayed us is very good. It's true, that the old friend keeps calling us back to hang together for just a few minutes! I also like what he said about the "victim gospel" that's so popular today. There is encouragement here too, being reminded that Jesus sustains us as well as takes away our burden of sins. How sad for the poor, lost, sinner carrying their burden all alone, being deceived by their best friend, sin.
Great Sermon! This is a really good sermon. I think I will try to check my motives more often. It's hard to believe that we could actually share the gospel with someone with the wrong motive, but it happens all the time. I like what Paul had to say about this. Love this sermon!
Great Sermon! As Christians we have many responsibilities, that's true, this sermon touches on the most important ones. It's a very good sermon with a lot of heplful advice on how to grow in grace, knowledge and love. I really like what the Pastor said, something like...We can spend all our time doing good and never do what's better or best. It's something I've really been praying about, asking the Lord to show me what's better and best.
Great Sermon! This is a good sermon, the ending reminds me of Jonathan Edwards. I sometimes wonder what the tone and demeanor of Jonathan Edwards was like, when he preached. This preacher, Pastor Marquedant, has such a gracious way of telling the most awful things that can befall a person, it's amazing and most evident that he has been called of God to preach His word.
Great Sermon! There is a lot of good information about Jewish custom and the building of God's church in this sermon. The reason given for Paul's irritation with the demon possessed girl is one I've never heard before. Excellent ending about the miracle of new life in Christ.
Great Sermon! I love this sermon because it's true God doesn't owe us anything, only damnation. But He give us so very much, if we are in Christ, He gives us everything. For people who deserve nothing and be reminded of how much we get from God is an extremely humbling realization. I'm so grateful to be reminded of this. I've never heard such a gracious message aboaut the use of credit cards too. I love this sermon also because I needed it, and will need it again.
