“ Great Sermon! ” Another excellent sermon from this series on Romans 9. Thank you Pastor Steve. I'm so glad you're not one of those pastors who avoids this chapter or misinterprets it. It's been a blessing to me.
“ Outstanding Sermon! ” This is one of my most cherished sermons. I have never heard these verses expressed this way. To say this sermon is encouraging is such an understatement, it's so much more than that. You have to hear it. I wish every believer could hear it. I guess unbeliever too, it would make them jealous to know how deeply we are loved. This series has been a great blessing to me.
“ Great Sermon! ” This lesson on humility felt like I went on a magic carpet ride through the whole Bible, it was wonderful. Thank you Gordon for bringing such insight to this passage of Scripture.
“ Excellent Sermon! ” I think what this pastor said "Election is offensive because we don't see ourselves as bad as we really are and we don't see God as good as He really is." is really the heart of the matter. Election is offensive to many people and it shouldn't be. Please listen to this to the end, it is an excellent teaching on a portion of Scripture that is misunderstood or ignored. Praise to God that He first loved us. Praise to God that He would love any of us.
“ Great Sermon! ” I liked this message, very much, because I'm reminded to keep the truth of hell in its proper place in all of life. I've become so accustom to the mercy and love of God that I've lost sight of the horror of that holy place. Good Sermon and sorely needed in this age of so much ear tickling.
“ Encouraging Sermon! ” What love God has for us that He would confirm His promise with an oath! If God doesn't keep this promise He will cease to be God for He swore by His own name. Very encouraging, thank you Jonathan.
“ Great man of God. ” Good presentation of Wycliffe's life and ministry, his theology and influence. God warned His enemies that He will bring forth the Reformation of His church. The light of the Gospel shines in the darkest places.
“ Great Sermon! ” There are so many good things to meditate on from this sermon. I especially liked the part that says God spoke out of the abundance of His heart in Christ. It's a beautiful way to look at God that I've never thought of before. This sermon is sorely needed today when there is so much vain, foolish talk going around. I notice it in myself and others.
“ Great Sermon! ” Worm theology, I love it and I'm so glad I go to a church that teaches it! May the Lord bless this sermon to humble hearts, open eyes and save sinners. Great Sermon!
“ Encouraging Sermon! ” This is a very encouraging sermon. Many Christians will say, Rom. 7, and other believers will know what they mean. Well it's good to have it explained by a humble man of God who can confess even his own struggle.
“ Outstanding Sermon! ” To see what the first century Jews/Christians understood Jesus to say is AMAZING. Pastor Urroz uses the OT to show exactly what the people understood. I love this and the other teachings "If Anyone Thrist" part 1 & 2. I have passed over precious OT verses not understanding what they meant, but now I see how they connect to Jesus, this is so wonderful. I'm very grateful to have my eyes opened in this way. The Word of God is truly the breath of God, inspired by Him, for a man could never have written what we have in the Bible. What a gift! Thank you Pastor Dan!!
“ Great Sermon! ” I love the title of this series, I'm reminded that the preaching of God's word, on the Lord's day, is for us who are being saved as our very life blood, if you will. This is an excellent sermon. It is hard to believe that we have died to sin when we struggle with it daily. But, it is true that we who have died with Christ, have died to sin. We are under the rule of the good King now, he has set us free to serve Him in holiness. God is amazing in His ways, Rom. 11:33-36 comes to mind.
“ Great Sermon! ” This is a great series and it's not even finished yet. I want to listen to this again because it so pack with good information. Especially the difference between justification and sanctification. Check out the outline for this sermon and you'll have a good idea how great this sermon is. It is really needed today because all of us mix up the two from time to time, I know I do.
“ Great Sermon! ” There is a false gospel and a false Jesus being preached today. Being reminded of this was a good warning for me,see 2 Cor. 11:4. The paraphrasing at the end is also good. From beginning to end this is a Great Sermon!
“ Great Sermon! ” I like this, News in Focus, section on SermonAudio and I like the comments made by Pastor Marquedant. I'm surprised that people would lightly enter into such a serious relationship. Very sad what the Moonies are doing.
“ Great Sermon! ” I needed this message, my ideas about adoption were not really correct in regards to the Scriptures so I really appreciate this teaching, especially Gal.4:6 WOW! Oh, Romans 11:33!!
“ Great Sermon! ” This was a very good devotional message. Christ is magnified as the Son of God AND the Son of Man. Thank you Leo your message really blessed me.
“ Great Sermon! ” I was encouraged by this devotional message to look back to my life in darkness, lost and without hope in the world. I had forgotten just how bad I was before God saved me, how blind and ignorant I was. Truly the Love of God in Christ is magnified by the difference. It is good for us to remember from where we've come.
“ Great Sermon! ” There is such a difference between those who fear the Lord and those who don't. We know we should fear the Lord properly but what does that really mean? I asked myself that a lot over the years. I'm grateful for this encouragement and for Jerry Bridges book, which I hope to read soon.
