The engine of the mouth is the heart. The heart would say nothing without the abundance of the heart. We will give an account to God for every idle word we speak. Words are the window to the soul.
Our hearts are filled with what we treasure. If we treasure God's truth it will overflow. Matthew 6::19-21.
When the heart overflows, the mouth is forced open. Jer. 20:7-9; Job 13:17-19; 32:3-22 (esp. v. 18-19)

Great Sermon! There are so many good things to meditate on from this sermon. I especially liked the part that says God spoke out of the abundance of His heart in Christ. It's a beautiful way to look at God that I've never thought of before. This sermon is sorely needed today when there is so much vain, foolish talk going around. I notice it in myself and others.
