So excellent a sermon ... Much needed for our day when more and more even we Christians are becoming isolated and separate from one another ... one of thechnology's unintended consequences.
A MUCH needed sermon for our times! I thank pastor Borgman for this illuminating sermon. It clarifies, and even chastises us Christians, on how we should think Biblically about this issue of "gay marriage." A MUST HEAR.
Great Sermon! Pastor Borgman, I enjoyed this message. Want to tell you I listen to you every day. My church does not give expository teaching so your sermons keep me centered. On context. Taught me how to study my bible. Thank you
Good study. This was a good study. I knew very few things about Baptists in Scotland. In the last days I read something about them in Ryland's Life of Andrew Fuller, when Fuller writes in his letters about his travels in Scotland.
We Can't Save Ourselves We can't save ourselves we all need to hear that message over and over again in conjunction with God forbid I should boast in anything but the cross ! And yes to sarcasm to 4 parties at hand 1)The Wolves 2) The World 3)The Religous World 4) The Residual Flesh within the Saved/Redeemed. Not only did Jesus use sarcasm but so did Jeremiah, Isaiah, Paul, James, Job, Jobs buddies, The psalms etc etc etc. Some of the "best" preachers including the likes above utilize sarcasm to expose The Flesh in four seconds flat thereby allowing us to see the The Flesh for what it is and regain our
equilibrium to walk in The Spirit. Thanks for the reminder ... I can't save myself ... Jesus Saves.
Sounds About Right A Walking Living Contradiction ... Nevertheless ... Being confident of this, that He will complete the good work He began in you (Philippians)
