Great Sermon! A thought planted and ringing through my mind from another sermon the other day has been reiterated and watered by this your sermon. "There is joy in obedience." very good message. Thank you. Revive me, O Lord.
Opposition. Opposition it never stops. The Opposition seems to not only never stop but intensifies. A faithful walk following The King is an absolute necessity. Life is a mine field. Thank you for pointing out several more mines.
Great Sermon! Every time I listen to your sermons, I come away with a deeper appreciation for God and His awesome attributes.Thank you for always preaching truth and what a bless congregation you have.
A FINAL THOUGHT...I THINK Pastor Brian, about that manure...maybe bodies back then could utilize almost 100% of the plant as food so there would less waste to eliminate. And maybe bodies had better filtering/recycling systems than after the flood. Maybe that's why things lived longer.
ALSO WONDERING... Considering that the world was probably against him, I wonder how Noah was able to convince the wife, three sons and their wives that the boat trip would be a life saving event? And how did he get help building it?
JUST THINKING... Pastor Brian, I've been reflecting on what you said about Noah being mocked by people. Bringing it down on a more personal level, Noah had brothers and sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, maybe his moma and her side of the family, not to mention all Noah's in-laws. These relatives were probably mocking him also.
OVERWHELMING INFORMATION ABOUT OUR GOD! Pastor Brian, it's happened again! That head-spinning-overwhelming-heart-leaping-for-joy thing that happened when I'd listened to part one. I don't know the theological terms for what I'm going to say. You present the personality, the "aliveness" of God. Yet you make it clear that He is a God that is in absolute control of Himself, that He is a God that is holy, perfect, without any error. Again I say, what a God is our God!
WOW, WOW, WOW! Pastor Brian, I was so happy you had part one and two posted on the same day because that meant I didn't have to wait. I was going to listen to one and then jump right into two.
No, I'm not! My head is spinning, I'm overwhelmed! And at the same time my heart has been leaping for joy like John the Baptist in his momma's womb. Whew! What a God is our God!
WAS ADAM A REAL MAN AND WAS HE THE FIRST? It's hard to believe that this question is seriously being asked in the Christian community! Pastor Brian answers the question with great explanations as to why Adam had to have been real and the first.
GOD IS PERFECT IN EVERY ASPECT Brian, what you've preached won't let me take credit for any good thing that I think I do 'cause it's tainted goods. Thank God that I am accepted in the Beloved. My life is hid with Christ in God. I thank Him also because of the righteousness that comes from Him. And everything about God is pure, perfect, without error, which includes His emotions. Looking forward to "next week" and the explanation of the ancient heresy.
