Great Sermon! I was just wondering why this message isn't part of your "An Exposition of Genesis" series. By posting this, you know that I am thinking that it should be. :-) I am currently listening to the latest in the series. Thank you for these messages!
Excellent exposition! Once again I find myself indebted to Pastor Borgman. He has alleviated much of my frustration regarding this passage. After many hours of studying commentaries and different translations, I was at a loss as to how to understand this section of Scripture. Thank you!
Great Sermon! This is the first message I have ever been constrained to comment on. I have been reading the book of Ecclesiastes this summer, and have been frustrated. I could not understand how everything could be futile when God commends work, food, and a good wife. This message has gripped me! I am looking forward to learning more about the book. My life here is not meaningless! Thank you.
Great Sermon! Oh so good. I never even knew I was in darkness until that moment in time when He said, "Let there be light." I had not seen as clearly the Light from Genesis onward as with this message. Must hear again. Thank you.
Great Sermon! This is so rich. It gives a whole different meaning and perspective that truly reflects everything else in God's Word. I'm looking forward to rereading Ecclesiates with my hebel glasses on. I submit that hebel has "substance!" thank you.
Scripture Alone Oh, that we in the Christian community were aware of the many ways in which we tell God that His Word (the Holy Bible) alone is not good enough for us.
God Is So Wonderful! This is not an apologetic discourse, this is a “Magnify the Lord with me” message.
Pastor Brian, I always knew that there was light before the sun because God said so in Gen 1:3. However, you are the first person I’ve heard answer the Day 4-Sun question in the Light of Rev 21:23 (my Bible has Isa 60:19-20 as a cross-reference) and John 1:5 (I read verses 1-9). Wow, our God is the great God Whose glory is beyond our comprehension!
Wonderful Message! Hey, what was God saying through the Incarnation about His creation and humans in particular? You don't know? Brian Borgman gives a very good answer.
Great Sermon! If you are wondering why you or a loved one is suffering, why you or a loved one is spending a long time in "the school of hard knocks", please listen to this sermon and others by Pastor Brisn Borgman on Hebrews 12: 5-11. You will find much encouragement!
Great Sermon! Brother Brian gives us a clear, logical and acceptable view of different aspects of Creation of the earth and of Adam. He poses some deep questions but follows through with acceptable answers. There's much to contemplate in this sermon.
Great Sermon! Brother Brian does an excellent job giving the highlights of making a deeper investigation in the entire Book. After hearing this sermon I'm determined to read Ecclesiastes entirely. Sounds like it's filled with great questions and answers. Yet, everything is under the control of God even when we can't understand this world.
