1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

God’s plan for women was not to make them 2nd class people. His plan that they should be helpmates, mothers and stay at home was making them relevant. What society has done is try to make women relevant in ways that are not according to scripture.

I didn’t read the article because all it can do is compartmentalize the sin of feminism.

The guidelines for receiving Communion, which are issued by the U.S. bishops and published in many missalettes, explain, “Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, members of those churches with whom we are not yet fully united are ordinarily not admitted to Communion. Eucharistic sharing in exceptional circumstances by other Christians requires permission according to the directives of the diocesan bishop and the provisions of canon law.”

The above is from the internet.

I can’t believe the ignorance of Graham. Under normal circumstances he would also be denied communion. So, theoretically he would have to applaud them for denying him communion.

I was in the military and was stationed in Monterey CA. in 1971. I remember that was the first time I had ever seen men holding hands and it was shocking to say the least. So, even that far back they were let's just say different.

It sounds like you no longer live there; good for you.

Just a few things that encourage me to believe perhaps Mr. West's conversion is true:
1. Clear efforts to turn away from his previous state.
2. A humility in some of his statements that probably hasn't been there before.
3. Notice he doesn't presume to preach God's word himself at his new concert events, but has an actual preacher preach for him. From what little I found on his preach he's a solid preacher of God's word. Though it is possible I've found information on the wrong guy.
Just some thoughts to consider.
Points well taken! Yes, our heavenly Father can and does save a rich and famous person. I think that the rich can and are more likely to worship mammon, but also the poor can worship mammon. IOW, it is not "necessarily" a bank account issue, but more of a heart issue.

I pray that God has saved this fellow, but will go no further than that.

Someone cannot be a practicing homosexual and be part of Christ’s sanctified church. According to the below scriptures, no Christian should be aligned with any church or denomination that supports these movements. Remember Paul’s comments on the individual that was sleeping with his father’s wife.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Whenever I hear about a celebrity coming to Christ, I have a natural disbelief. I don’t ever think it is impossible, but just doubtful. The below says that Christ can save anyone, but He also warns us of just how rare that will be in the case of rich folks.

Matthew 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God 25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Good riddance! He now knows that Mohammed was a lying, murdering pedophile. He also knows that he will not spend eternity with 72 virgins. And he now knows that our infinitely holy Father in heaven will not forgive sins unless Christ paid for them on the cross.

I'm sure you do Jim! Even though 99 percent of all Christians who post here would disagree with you. Just think about that for a moment.

All you are espousing is the black liberation theology of Obama.

And for full disclosure, of course I didn't read the link you provided.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is the only reason that I voted for Trump and will vote for him again. Because he has to pander to people like me, perhaps just one little life will be saved.

I can understand if Christians don't vote, but anyone who votes for a democrat cannot be saved.

I didn’t read the article.

When Rick Warren speaks the truth he is simply a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They mix truth and error which then waters down the truth. The below are a couple of his quotes. He represents the emergent church movement which says among other heresies that if 2 Christians disagree regarding a theological point, then it is wrong to be adamant about that point.

"Warren predicts that fundamentalism, of all varieties, will be 'one of the big enemies of the 21st century.' ... Muslim fundamentalism, Christian fundamentalism, Jewish fundamentalism, secular fundamentalism - they're all motivated by fear. Fear of each other.'" In 2005, at the Pew Forum of Religion, Warren told the mostly liberal audience:

"I’m looking for a second reformation. The first reformation of the church 500 years ago was about beliefs. This one is going to be about behavior. The first one was about creeds. This one is going to be about deeds. It is not going to be about what does the church believe, but about what is the church doing."

“Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Senators in South Carolina approved a proposal to ban virtually all abortions six weeks following conception after removing exemptions for pregnancies that are the result of rape and incest.”

"Everybody acknowledges that rape and incest are terrible crimes," said Republican Sen. Richard Cash, who proposed the exemptions to be removed. "However, the little baby, the boy or the girl, is still an innocent life and life is still the most valuable right we have as human beings."

First, let me say that I praise the Lord that the above will undoubtedly save some innocent lives. But my guess is it will not become law and let me also add this. It is implying that an embryo is not a real human life and they can be legally murdered during the first 6 weeks.

This is what the woman’s liberation movement has led to. They can now legally murder their own children. Once Pandora’s Box was opened, it cannot be shut.

I am pretty sure that your ‘holier than thou’ attitude standing outside an abortion clinic would do little to save lives or spread the gospel to the women who desperately need it.
Well, if abortion is the killing of an innocent life, then it is indeed murder. What this lukewarm pastor is doing is simply coddling women and making them victims instead of perpetrators. I would ask them why they had sex if they weren’t willing and able to bear a child.

Sorry if you felt the above was self-righteous? Not sure why you thought that, but that was not my intent. But, my comment still stands.

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

7523 ratsach raw-tsakh' a primitive root; properly, to dash in pieces, i.e. kill (a human being), especially to murder:--put to death, kill, (man-)slay(-er), murder(-er).

I have never picketed an abortion clinic.

Neil,

Thanks for your comment. I am not a conspiracy nut, but I have no way of denouncing them either? Since you mentioned women and the infamous cigarette issue, I am going to post something I came across years ago. For full disclosure, I want to say I personally agree with this comment and it has nothing to do with Christian women.

“The secret correspondence of the Illuminati also revealed their plan to use the liberation of women for their purposes, as is stated”

“There is no way of influencing men so powerfully as by means of the women. These should therefore be our chief study; we should insinuate ourselves into their good opinion, give them hints of emancipation from the tyranny of public opinion and of standing up for themselves; it will be an immense relief to their enslaved minds to be freed from any one bond of restraint, and it will fire them more, and cause them to work for us with zeal, without knowing that they do so; for they will only be indulging their own desire of personal admiration.”

Here is a Gloria Steinem quote that sort of explains the mental attitude that Steinem wants to impart. IOW, a feminist would be proud of this statistic.

“I would say that each of us has only one thing to gain from the feminist movement: Our whole humanity. Because gender has wrongly told us that some things are masculine and some things are feminine… which is bull____.”

Jim from Lincoln,

Just curious, but do you still believe that Hillary is a paragon of virtue when compared to the republicans? I do remember you stating that. She has finally lost what little reasoning she had with comments about Gabbard and Jill Stein being Russian agents. I remember when she also said that while on government business she landed somewhere and immediately came under heavy enemy fire from someone. I saw the film of her supposed attack and it didn't happen. You do realize that behavior is a form of psychosis?

And of course we have her infamous comments about her husband and Lewinsky and how it was the evil conservatives (the deplorables) simply making up a lie.

I have asked you this before and you never responded. Are you a paid troll or just a troll?

Now remember Jim, this comment has nothing whatsoever to do with Trump or the republican party. If you answer, please leave them out of it.

Old news: Edward Bernays undermined the American taboo against women smoking by getting some "Women's Rights" marchers to flaunt their "torches of freedom" in NYC's 1929 Easter Day Parade. Virginia Slims later played this "Women's Lib" card by showing "strawman" ads insinuating that home-making was demeaning in the "bad old days."

Recent events have vindicated his evil genius; media think the public will believe *anything* they're fed by authority figures, no matter how absurd. And I fear they're right, and people who think they're educated and wise are not immune.
Ex. 23:2 "Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil"
Yes, Edward Bernays was a very interesting fellow who understood how easy it was to brainwash society. Reminds me of the scriptures that teach we should be careful what we listen to and how we listen to something; Luke 8:16-18 and Mark 4:21-25. I prefer to call him a propagandist. I see this brainwashing in so many areas of our society, e.g. commercials, public schools, the work force and yes many churches.

Do you believe there is a group(s) referred to as the Illuminati?
