Great Sermon! Thank you for delivering this powerful series of sermons they have been a source of sweet comfort and encouragement to my soul. Going through severe trials and troubles currently... needing God’s strength, power and grace to uphold and sustain me. Lord bless you and may Gods grace continue to empower & enable you to preach the gospel with power and boldness. In Christ.
Tremendous progress Dear Brother Dr Jim Phillips, thank you for taking the time to share another video of the building progress. It looks like the project to build your home and recording studio is going very well. Your home is situated in a beautiful setting up there in Fish Lake Valley. Yourself and Marilyn remain in my daily prayers. God bless and sustain you both.
Great Sermon! Pastor Nibert's 2 natures, one conciousness explanation is brilliant. I often ponder how I exist in both eternity and time. In these cases separation is only possible by switching conciosness off, thereby eliminating "time."
Phenomenal teaching - Thank you! Dr. Renihan, thank you so much for expounding on this great, but difficult teaching from the 1689. The way your pulled everything together and explained the Scripture and how it perfectly lines up with the description and office of the pope was mind-blowing! I have claimed to ascribe to the 1689 for the better part of a year now, but did not know this section was in there! (i'm still working on finishing reading/studying the entire confession)
But yes, fantastic teaching! I really like that you included your handout notes as well on SermonAudio so I could follow along. I have benefited greatly from your videos having to do with federalism and Baptist covenant theology as well. I was just blown away at your teaching concerning the Pope being a definitive fit for the AntiChrist! I was blown away at how perfectly he matches the Biblical description! I now fully support what the writers of the 1689 believed in this regard.
Thank you for your ministry sir, and God bless you. I will be searching through more of your sermons!
Pope John Paul II: Died in his sins Pope John Paul II, born Karol Józef Wojtyła (18 May 1920 – 2 April 2005), like every other Roman Catholic pope, died in his sins. Then again, all of the Roman Catholic popes died in their sins and are now being tormented in Hell, and will later on be judged at the Great White Throne and be cast into the Lake of Fire. It is worth remembering John 8:24 in times like these.
