Jim Lincoln wrote: "After Trump's 'law and order' visit, Biden says he'll go to Kenosha to 'heal'" https://tinyurl.com/y4rcxjsm Now that is something that is more Christian â đ This is a quote from Rev. James H. Cone, the founder of the black liberation theology movement. Obamaâs pastor for 20 years, Rev. Wright also adhered to this tenet. âCone explains that at the core of black liberation theology is an effort â in a white-dominated society, in which black has been defined as evil â to make the gospel relevant to the life and struggles of American blacks, and to help black people learn to love themselves. It's an attempt, he says "to teach people how to be both unapologetically black and Christian at the same time." IMO, this movement which you adhere to revolves mostly around the issue of racism. NOT THE GOSPEL. |

Iâm sure that most of my brothers and sisters realize I am not a fan of scientists and that would include epidemiologists. There used to be a joke when I was young that if you donât like something science says today, just wait and they will change it. I also pay little attention to their findings because since I am not a scientist, how would I know if what they are saying is true? Many of those involved with this virus appear to be politically driven. That fact doesnât take a genius to notice. Just look at Fauci as the prime example. Anyway, if anyone can explain to me how in the world did they come up with a survey and this conclusion? |

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. |

As the # 1 killer of black lives taken out annually in America is by abortion. Is more than twice the current number (138,101 as of April 16th) of total coronavirus deaths worldwide. Thirty-five% of abortions in the U.S. are among African-Americans, according to the CDC. If we applied that to the total number of U.S. abortions reported by the (pro-abortion) Guttmacher Institute in 2017 (862,320 abortions of which 301,812 of them were committed on black babies), there are an estimated 827 black lives wiped out by abortion every single day. And I thank God brother for your service in that area; the murder of innocent lives in the womb. |

Dr. Tim wrote: Iâm a thousand other kinds of a sinner, but at least no lawyerâbut I think the argument could be made that precedents have been set showing that streets are now considered legitimate public forums for various painted expressions of opinion. Worth a shot anyway. Of course the âBaby Lives Matterâ slogan was a takeoff on âBlack Lives Matter.â Perhaps the estimable gentleman from Nebraska could explain why, if black lives matter so much, black mothers murder millions of their babies; why black gangsters shoot each other to death by the thousands; and why more black men donât step up to help raise and support the little black lives they have created. (Oh, I get itâitâs all Donald Trumpâs fault.). Black Lives Matter is not only a marxist movement, but a ridiculously hypocritical movement. Apparently the only black lives that matter are those of a handful of black criminals killed by police officers, and not the many thousands of black lives destroyed by the hateful and irresponsible actions of other black citizens. I know this is not the politically correct stance, but I just think someone should have the nerve to point out the elephant in the room. Perfect comment! The only thing you left out was they are a matriarchal society. |

I have heard the argument that if there is no victim, then it is okay to do whatever you want to do. I actually engaged someone who was arguing that sodomy or adultery were okay as long as it was between two consenting adults. What this article is saying is the same thing regarding heterosexual fornication. I think this is the opinion of either someone who is atheistic or libertarian. Anyway, I asked them if their spouse committed adultery and they never found out about it, would it still be wrong. They just looked at me and said yes. I asked them if the pain a parent would have if their child was homosexual could be overlooked. They had to concede that the parentâs feelings mattered. Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. |

Brother JohnUK,I only read your comments and then surmised from them what the argument was. I have also never heard of Gary Smith. I was not trying to come to your aid as implied, but was showing that I agreed with you; big difference. IOW, I wouldnât lie for you or anyone else. When I became saved, I had or course never heard of the Lordship Salvation controversy. I simply knew I was a sinner and that Christ died for those sins. At the same time, I also realized that Christ was my Lord and Savior and I was to try to obey Him at all costs. I have challenged people to say they are saved and Christ isnât their Lord and of course no one would dare say that. I donât have to make Christ my Lord. If I belong to Him, He is my Lord and I am His servant. Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. I did read two of MacArthurâs books on Lordship salvation. But, I was already convinced of that before reading them. MacArthur simply added to my understanding which what any pastor should be able to do. Prior to any real knowledge of the controversy, I had always believed salvation and discipleship were synonymous terms. Your comments were outstanding! |

I didnât read the article. Now letâs see, you have a feminist saying something that is correct. That means she is speaking truth with the wrong reason. The below was satan speaking truth to our Lord for the wrong reason: Matthew 4: 5Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. And of course His response: 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. |

Thanks for posting up the links on JMac. they speak volumes. Now you aren't going to believe this, but it is true. In my original comment, I referred to you and LB as the "dynamic duo". I then thought, why are you attacking the person and not the argument. Anyway since I really didn't want anyone to be personally offended, I modified it. Hate is a horrible thing and it can destroy us. Last one to you. |

Brother JohnUK,I havenât really been following this thread, but I did read through some of your comments and thought they were outstanding. Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? What some would have us believe is that Christ underwent a horrible death to atone for our sins, but then say God says it is okay to sin. They spin this, but that is the crux of their thoughts. My guess is none of these folks confess their sins on a daily basis. Anyway, here is a question I would ask them and they will not respond. Is Christ your Lord as well as your Savior? They would have to set up some rabbit trail by accusing me of adding to salvation solely through grace. There is no one that is fellowshipping with Christ that will say He is not their Lord. Lastly, like one of your excellent comments alluded to; when did He then become our Lord? He became my Lord on day one even though a full understanding came later. The Spirit showed me He was my Lord and Savior from day 1. Why would anyone say Jesus wasnât their Lord if they worship Him? He is God! |

These ungodly blasphemers can remove all the material crosses they want, but they can never remove the spiritual cross of our Lord and Savior. They can stop people for publicly worshipping, but they can never remove the born again spirits of believers. Pslams 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. |

The below is the only medical opinion that I would agree with.http://prolifephysicians.org/app/?page_id=2 "When the life of the mother is truly threatened by her pregnancy, if both lives cannot simultaneously be saved, then saving the motherâs life must be the primary aim. If through our careful treatment of the motherâs illness the pre-born patient inadvertently dies or is injured, this is tragic and, if unintentional, is not unethical and is consistent with the pro-life ethic. But the intentional killing of an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary." |

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.And statistics say 1 in 4 American women will undergo an abortion before they are 45. So, the next time you are in a crowd, look around you; sobering thought. Luke 1:41 âAnd it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:â Now more to the article. Why would anyone think that a mass murderer isn't capable of literally anything abominable. |

In order for Margaret Sanger to be successful in her eugenics, she first had to convince black pastors such as this fellow. That was actually a specific goal of hers. The below is from a black polling site:African Americans say abortion should remain legal. â˘80% agree when asked, âregardless of how I personally fee about abortion, I believe it should remain legal and women should be able to get safe abortions. â˘71% say that âat least some health care professionals in my community should provide legal abortions.â African Americans say we should trust women to make the right decisions about themselves. â˘89% agree âevery personâs case is different and very private and personal, so we should leave decisions about abortions up to the individual woman.â 76% agreed strongly with this statement. Me - I would say Sanger was as crafty as she was evil. |

John UK wrote: This is not good news. The gospel is good news. Good morning brother! Not good news - agree. Gospel is good news - agree. And now for some of my rambling. As prophesied, the world is drawing further and further away from Christianity. Only Christianity can give someone true purpose. For those that think fame and wealth give purpose, just look at Hollywood and the amount of drug/alcohol addiction, adultery and divorces in that community. Without purpose, one of the alternatives would be drug usage. I have never taken drugs, but surely it would temporarily remove any anxiety, depression or lack of purpose. IMO, nothing can change the use of drugs to make life easier except coming to the Lord and Savior. Ideally in Christ all things work for our good and for His glory. And He of course will give us purpose. |
