Yes bro, the Catholic church has lost its clout, so it has to resort to subterfuge now. Infiltration is a good word for it.
It is very hard to imagine the atrocities of the Roman machine when it did wield power and authority, both spiritual and secular. Terrible days! Thankfully they never could grasp at a believer's soul, nor can they prevent a happy resurrection, no matter what they have done to bodies. And I'm thinking that they really did believe they were "doing God service". Or did they? Well, Jesus said there would be some who would be like that. But it's mighty odd.
Good comment brother! I don't know why they did it, but they murdered millions over the years. Perhaps the below applies.

John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

Yes, Unprofirable. Abortion is always murder.
I often hear people say that it should be allowed for in the cases of rape but I would disagree. Two violations are not better than one. Murdering the baby does not negate the act of rape.
Well said! Yes, in the case of rape or incest, the child in the womb didn't do anything at all. And the below covers the life and health of the mother completely!

http://prolifephysicians.org/app/?page_id=2

"When the life of the mother is truly threatened by her pregnancy, if both lives cannot simultaneously be saved, then saving the mother’s life must be the primary aim. If through our careful treatment of the mother’s illness the pre-born patient inadvertently dies or is injured, this is tragic and, if unintentional, is not unethical and is consistent with the pro-life ethic. But the intentional killing of an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary."

Yes indeed, Christopher. Imagine how difficult it must have been for the early Reformers, many of whom would have been entrenched in the Catholic abomination and brainwashed from birth. Even those who were already separate from the 'machine' were not immune to holding some false doctrines; there is quite a long list of such who sought to be separatists, of whom the world was not worthy, and were persecuted for daring to stand against the clergy. After all, they were ONLY laity, weren't they? What did they know?
Thankfully, there are still some of us separatists left to tell the tale and stand up for scripture against the philosophies and power-hungry denominations of men.
I agree fully brother! I call it Roman/Protestantism. Of course that simply means that yes, the Roman church has infiltrated the church of the true saints.

And, I have read about the martyrs during the early reformation. Imagine a person being tortured and burned at the stake for simply saying they didn't agree with some form of catholicism. And perhaps looking out at his wife and children who would now be destitute.

Dear Brother and Sisters, I don’t think we should be surprised at what’s happening in the world today. God’s word clearly warns us about the last days. It is our duty to teach the children God’s word and His ways. We can’t expect the world to teach them about God and His righteousness. This is the world today as the bible says where good will be called evil and evil will be called good. From day one I have been teaching my kids about His word and exposing them to the truth of the devils lies lurking around in every corner. Teach your children not only God’s word but also expose them to the devils lies and deception. I count it a blessing that my kids are able to stand up for their beliefs in their school where they are educated to accept lgbt. They don’t participate in anything related to such educational events. Please take the responsibility of educating your children yourself.
What a great comment and wonderful advice. Thanks!

I think this lady is simply a conservative feminist. Often times we associate the feminist movement only with liberals and that is completely illogical. IMO, conservative feminists confuse the church more than the liberal ones do because all Christians are indeed conservative.

She is simply a political activist.

Oh, I did listen to some of her speech at Liberty University. She said she suffered from anorexia and overcame it via yoga and meditation. I turned it off after that. And she spoke at Liberty; no surprise there.

QC - excellent advice. I only engage Jim from Lincoln if I believe he has said something that might confuse the body of Christ. Thanks!!!

Good morning Brother Pilgrim.
Does this mean you are finally relinquishing the chief of sinners status? Excellent! Then Bro US ought to have that spot for his contrariness, I can still hold on to second place, and you can be relegated to third, where Bro US used to be. Is that okay, or are you going to fight over it?
BTW I do agree about the Lord knowing all things. I call him the Almighty Christ, not without good cause. He is far higher than we can ever imagine him to be.
No brother, I am still the chief of sinners and I don't say that with false piousness or humility. I truly am and am not proud of it.

Okay, you have my elder permission to raise U.S. to number 2 and you can go to number 3.

Remember when SteveR used to refer to you, me, and U.S. as the unholy trinity. He is gone, thank God, but I have a sneaking suspicion that others have replaced him.

Hope you have a wonderful Spirit filled day.

New Perspective on Paul, New Take on Paul? It's all a bit like, "Here's a New Bible, chuck your old ones away." Of course that means buying a new Bible every year, so that in twenty years time your bookshelf will be full of them. But hey, who cares? The country is trillions in debt, why shouldn't you get in debt to have the latest newfangled thing or doctrine in your life?
Hey brother, I did a study on it a few years ago and the below is some of what I came up with.

NT Wright, EP Sanders, James Dunn – proponents

They say:

What actually does the NPP teach? It teaches that everyone, especially the Protestants have misunderstood 2nd temple Judaism. Judaism was in essence a system of grace, not works righteousness. The Reformation got it wrong when they believed that Paul was teaching a doctrine of salvation by grace as opposed to a salvation by works. The Jews never thought they were in a covenant of works, but of grace. We are left with two choices; either Paul misunderstood Judaism, or Luther and the Reformation misunderstood Paul. NT Wright concludes that Paul has been misunderstood by the Reformation. Paul did not think or teach that Judaism was a system that had been works righteousness oriented.

I didn't read the article.

All I can say is if this becomes a wide-spread reality, then women's sports are finished. A male regardless of surgery or injections will always have the advantage.

The end result of the sexual revolution is a devouring of the young.
Feminism, with its power pant suits have marched across this nation for 60 years. And in the end, allowing mentally ill boys and girls and take on a gender identity that is a psychological diagnosis and stating all must bow to their mental illness is the contribution of feminism.
Feminism has disrupted families with no fault divorce, it has perpetrated a crime on children by liberalizing the courts to grant homosexual adoption of children, proliferation of pornagraphy in libraries, school sex education and nearly 60 million pornagraphic websites in the world. It has reduced consent laws to the age of 15 years of age, it has made the child sex industry go back to a Islamic fantasy, transgenderism is the norm in all European armies, and there are around a thousand in the US military.
Feminism is the enemy and has been since the garden.
As you and others might suspect; I agree completely with your comment. And let me just add, that I and every other person on the planet has in many ways aided this evil movement. You and I just recognize it for what it is.

Come quickly my Lord and Savior, come quickly.

I'm all in favour of "freedom of speech".
That is why I speech quite freedomly.
Good morning Pilgrim,

Hate speech certainly is interesting. It reminds me of one man’s freedom fighter being another man’s terrorist. IOW, truth is usually in the eye of the beholder and itching ears is what drives the final conclusion.

But the most marvelous and wonderful truth is our Lord and Savior knows our hearts and intentions perfectly. He knows when I am being carnal and He knows when I am in a loving and kind way trying to rebuke or correct someone. To me the most important thing is that the truth is paramount and He knows our hearts completely and cannot be fooled.

Just an old man rambling. I am just as guilty as the ones I am speaking against. Well maybe not quite as guilty.

Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Proverbs 23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. 5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

And of course, I could go on and on about the issue of worldly success/wealth versus Christian service.

Folau, who spoke out against same-sex marriage after the Wallabies expressed support for the Yes campaign in 2017, previously said he was prepared to walk away from rugby if the situation became untenable due to his Christian beliefs.

Amen to the above and I pray the Lord will bless and guide this fellow.

Jim, not everyone is a christian (notice the little c) politician like you are.

Good morning brother! “I am not writing this to enter into any discussion!“

As you know, I believe that Christ died for all but His death is of course not efficacious for all. If someone wants to discuss this via email, I will gladly do it. I don’t fully understand the logic of this, but I can show IMO that scripture teaches it and I use lots more than John 3:16. I know many agree with me on this, but are afraid of saying it because of the backlash it has.

Because of my unlimited atonement thoughts I have been accused of being a Universalist, but that is of course not true. I have also been accused of dummying down the significance of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. Also, not true.

I am also not an ecumenicalist and you have denounced that movement on many occasions. Remember when you go to "confession" you have to say the exact things the priest says to say. :-) Otherwise you are not forgiven.

Now remember, I will not respond to naysayers on this thread, but my email is right there.

Don't you know what Roman Catholicism teaches?
Did Christ die in vain?
He alone is our Mediator and the only way to the Father.
Well SC, I wasn’t going to get involved in any conversation that included Dolores. She causes dissent, pretends she doesn’t like dissent and then intentionally causes more dissent. Strange behavior, that is for sure.

Anyway, but I do want to agree with you on your thoughts about Catholicism. If I am a member of a catholic church, then I either accept the teaching of Catholicism or I am ignorant of the teaching of Catholicism. Either way, I should be treated as an unbeliever. That isn’t judging their soul as some would say, it is “judging” their works. “Come out from among them” has to have a "them" to make sense. The church cannot save; only Christ can save. If anyone doesn’t know and understand that the catholics believe the church saves, then they should be ashamed of themselves or listen those who know this truth.

I was once told by a catholic apologist that I had excommunicated myself since I had been baptized cath., understood catholicism and rejected it.

Great comments, Frank. Feminists aren't the only ones who think children are a hindrance. I was outside on our street conversing with a neighbor when someone he knew drove up. One of the things the driver told my neighbor was that the children in the neighborhood were an effective form of birth control. In other words, children are a hindrance to these men's lifestyles.
Because the average American adult, at least in our region anyway, is too immature and too self absorbed to care about anyone but themselves, the concept of child rearing is something they really don't want to deal with.
It's that radical self-centeredism that the Holy Spirit breaks through as Ne creates that new heart of flesh replacing the heart of stone as a result and evidence of the newly planted faith in Jesus Christ.
Good comment brother! The world is and must grow worse and worse before the end comes. Nothing can slow down or speed up the coming of our Lord. I simply don’t want to be part of the negative things. The below was a rhetorical question our Lord posed.

Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Thanks brother! And like I said, I did see your point and often it is in fact applicable. There are so many wolves masquerading as sheep, so many tares sitting in the pulpits, etc. I have personally been accused via email of being unsaved by more than one of the posters on SA. The Lord will sort this all out in the end, but I for one will speak forth truth as I see it.

Thanks for being so gracious.

Not anything I'd touch just by default but I'm not qualified to give characterization of whether or not she has saving faith or not.
My point id that it is a difficult position to place ourselves in to declare that someone with a mistaken doctrine is somehow unsaved as a result. I grew a lot as a young Christian myself, and wasn't always as consistent with this crowd as I am today, which is the power of the Lord at work. But I will never be perfect in this life.
I can understand where you are coming from. None of us can positively know for sure whether or not someone is in the faith or not. So your point is well taken. But, notice in the below that Paul is talking about the body of Christ judging the works of false Christians, yes judging them and rejecting those in question.

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Are you saying that we should consider all those who profess Christ to belong to Christ, e.g. Hillary, Pelosi, etc.

Important to point out that none of us are entering heaven on the strength of our doctrine and theology entrance exam. Instead, we enter only through the blood of the Lamb and our trust in Him which reflects through changed lives. Our continuing or even new errors and misconceptions are part of the sin He paid for...for which I personally am eternally thankful.
The fact that someone is in error is no surprise, for we all are seeing as we all have sin (1 John 1:8). The surprise should be if we are not in error, and that is only of the Lord.
Just encouraging kinder language toward those misguided as well as asking your patience with me as I too need Jeeus' covering of my understanding.
Okay brother, I'll give it a try. Beth Moore is an evangelical feminist minion of satan.

Cool, huh?
Okay brother, you win!

I don't need to say any more.
So I won't.

You are such a wise fellow, although if you simply say "yes ma'am" you will do alright.

This is an addition to this comment. I don't want anyone to think I was referring to them so let me add: "you could simply say "yes sir".

Lastly, stop bringing up Billy Graham!!!!!

Brother Frank, I don't know you personally, of course, but you're no misogynist. Actually, it's men who support feminism that are misogynists, as well as haters of God, since feminism is the opposite of Him having created women to marry, bear children, and guide the house {I Tim. 5:14}.
Women certainly are not blameless in the matter of feminism, but...how many women were on the SCOTUS when the Roe v. Wade ruling occurred? How many women were in Congress when the 19th Amendment {woman's suffrage, or the "right" to vote} was ratified? Feminists largely owe their rights, so to speak, to men, yet it's still not enough and they are still misandrists {i.e., man haters}.
Thanks sister! I have frequently said the real war against women is when society tries to make them relevant in ways that aren't according to their spiritual purpose. That is right in line with your way of thinking.

Do you realize how few people have ever heard of misandrists?

Yes brother, they sure have lost it. Women were designed to get married, have children and be a keeper at home. Now, “generally speaking” it is impossible for them to do that and have careers outside the home. Yes, children are a gift and blessing from God, but in the feminist eyes, they are mostly a hindrance.

Oh and God said that sex outside of marriage was a sin and men have always wanted to have sex with whomever and whenever they like. I brought up this because I am sometimes referred to as a misogynist. Without the support of carnal men, abortion would go nowhere.
