I would say this pastor is right for saying that trump is not held accountable enough. He is veryyyyyyyy wrong for leaving his fathers flock when he is supposed to be shepherding them!!!!!!!! Trump is in need of a savior (as we all are) he is an openly immoral person but... if I was old enough I would still vote for him. Not because he’s such a great Christian but because he is great for the economy, stands for our rights and does not want communist control of if you can have a baby or murder it!
Very well said, thank you! I will vote for Trump because he panders to the pro-life agenda. And because of that many little innocent babies will be spared. Every politician has a base that they must satisfy and they will do that without any truthfulness. They simply tell them what they want to hear.

And yes, Trump is an immoral buffoon.

The demand that the state take on the role of the church has been around for a while. The PRC is a good example of what that looks like when it has come to fruition.
Great post brother! People must comprehend what takes place in a society that is communist/socialist. In communist Romania baptizing children was illegal. Witnessing outside of a church was illegal. And all sermons had to be approved by local officials.

And yes, the PRC is a perfect example of what we can easily become. If someone becomes a nuisance to the government, they could easily find themselves in a work camp.

Socialism/communism promises prosperity and equality when in reality they deliver bondage.

Any church that has to ponder this issue is probably not a legitimate church of our Lord. To me it would be the same as pondering whether Jesus was God in the flesh; it is that clear. Opening church doors to someone is different that saying you and your sin are welcome here. Any time we formally welcome a particular sin, we are always going to be wrong. Why not say; “pedophiles are welcome here”? Political correction has no place in our churches.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Romans 3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

If I thought that you could confuse any of the brothers on this forum, I would respond directly to your thoughts. But my guess is few even read your comments. I wouldn’t have except I noted my name in line 1. But, now that I see your agenda, I can assure you any response you have will go unread by me. Why don't you take MS's advice and just ignore us "good ol boys".

Psalms 1:1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Revelation 2:20 - Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

Being anti-abortion, without supporting universal health Care is hypocrisy and an ethical failure
Abortion is my number one issue and that does not remotely make me a hypocrite. We can harm someone and make amends, but we cannot murder someone and make amends with them. I believe that universal healthcare will simply give women an extra incentive to murder their unborn children.

Christians do not support or promote abortions. Your arguments have no spiritual value.

"When the life of the mother is truly threatened by her pregnancy, if both lives cannot simultaneously be saved, then saving the mother’s life must be the primary aim. If through our careful treatment of the mother’s illness the pre-born patient inadvertently dies or is injured, this is tragic and, if unintentional, is not unethical and is consistent with the pro-life ethic. But the intentional killing of an unborn baby by abortion is never necessary."

And this means that she will be the first Calvin University’s first openly lesbian student body president that will suffer the wrath of our holy God at the judgment unless she repents and comes to Christ. Note to our antinomians. This isn’t works based. God gives us the spirit of repentance and draws us to the cross; IOW, He does it all.

Isaiah 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Yes brother, i also found other sources that basically said the same thing. It is amazing to me that these cults even exist much less that they have millions of followers.

Still praying for your child.

The below is from Wiki.

The Church of Almighty God[a] (simplified Chinese: ĺ…¨č˝çĄžć•™äĽš; traditional Chinese: ĺ…¨č˝çĄžć•™ćś; pinyin: QuánnĂ©ng ShĂ©n JiĂ ohuì), better known as Eastern Lightning (simplified Chinese: 东方闪电; traditional Chinese: 東方é–é›»; pinyin: DĹŤngfÄng ShÇŽndiĂ n), is a monotheistic new religious movement established in China in 1991.[1] Government sources estimate the group has three to four million members.[2]

The group's core tenet is that Jesus Christ has returned to earth and is presently living as a Chinese woman.[3] The name "Eastern Lightning" alludes to the Gospel of Matthew 24:27: "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

The American episcopal denomination is critical because of 2 things, it is modeled after the Catholic Church in it’s polarity and it is a modern day anti christ conglomerate. The installation of Gene Robinson was the straw that broke the camels back. The only ones left are blue hairs and pot bellied bald men who think it’s 1968, we’re in Vietnam , and Episcopalians are the church of peace and happiness. Their candle stick has gone out - fair warning- but unheeded by the largest Christian denomination. Southern Baptist, the wind is blowing through the door and your flame is diminished.
Thank you! What a great and informative way to describe their apostasy.

Abortions of the post-born. Absurd.
What's frightening to me is that it is impossible to know if you might be safe entering a doctor's office or hospital under those conditions. What if your case isn't easily treatable? What if you are disabled? They'll just help you along...
You are right brother. Once Pandora's Box has been opened it cannot be closed; first abortions and now this. The rules for these murders start at one point and then always become vague and more lax. No one has a right to take an innocent life.

I know the following haven’t illegally stolen their wealth, but they all have deliberately preached a false message and they gained their wealth by lying to deceived followers. In my mind lying to someone to get their money is the same as stealing among other things. The below amounts from the internet are in millions.

Joyce Meyer; 8
TD. Jakes 18
Rick Warren 25
Creflo Dollar 27
Joel Osteen 40

Jim, I think what you think is "racism" and what most of the rest of us think is "racism" are two very different things.
Yes brother you are very correct. The black culture is different than our's, but that difference doesn't represent racism. Anyone who thinks they are the same are naive.

I could make a very good case that the racism that does exist in some circles is even worse in black communities. My favorite example is 95% of blacks voted for Obama over his white rival. They don't consider that racism in spite of the fact that if 95% of whites had voted for a white candidate over a black, they would be yelling and shouting racism.

When I was working if a black was denied a promotion they almost always filed a racism complaint.

Jim and unfortunately many in the black community follow the Black Liberation Theology and see everything through that lens.

Sorry for this rambling.

Booker used every opportunity possible to mischaracterize the possible repeal of Roe v. Wade. He said women would be “denied the ability to make decisions about their own bodies” and “stripped of the right to plan for their futures.”

No, the issue isn’t about a woman’s right to choose or about their own bodies or about their careers. It is about the murdering of an innocent life that is simply residing in them.

Thanks for your comment brother! Yes Jim is into Black Liberation Theology as was Obama and Obama’s pastor. Everything Jim supports is supported by that organization.

Christ didn’t come to this earth to liberate blacks, but to save those who place their trust in Him for their salvation.

No Jim, I can assure you the pro-life Christians on this site or elsewhere are not hypocrites. The only thing universal healthcare would accomplish is to give women even more opportunities to murder their innocent children. IOW, it would pay for it. It is impossible to completely stop any particular sin, (you are setting up a rabbit trail by making that the issue) but making abortion illegal would help immensely. Remember the below?

Science

Simply ask evolutionists the following question(s). They say that there was some sort of matter that formed itself and this matter was struck by a bolt of energy. Now when this occurred, it caused a cell to form. This cell then decided to multiply and create the beginning of a human. Irreducible complexity would then necessitate that this cell formed a complete human that suddenly had life. Irreducible complexity is simply the thought that a heart cannot exist without all of the other major organs existing at the same time. If someone takes a major organ away, then all the other organs will die. Now even a scientist will say the odds against a cell multiplying in nature is so little that it is statistically impossible. Now this cell growth that resulted randomly from nature then had to replicate what took place to create the opposite sex.

Now why would anyone believe that this random evolutionary process would then start all over again to produce the necessary sexual organs to reproduce. No one will dare even postulate and answer to this reproduction necessity. Otherwise there could be no reproduction of the species. And this impossible process had to replicate itself to accommodate the millions of species that reproduce in our world!

Politics aside, this lady is a part time wife, part time mother and a full time feminist. The fact that she served as a “handmaiden” in the RCC also is noteworthy. It sort of reminds me of Bush’s Skull and Bones?

Now, if none of the above were true, she still shouldn’t serve as a leader in our government. That is not one of the roles that God assigned women. I don’t care if she is the smartest, wisest, most competent judge in the entire country.

We cannot change the cultures viewpoint regarding this, but we should speak out against it.

Well I am hesitant to believe in some type of world-wide conspiracy. Not saying that is impossible, but simply unlikely. But, I don’t believe the politicians, the media or the epidemiologists. That means I don’t believe those that support Trump and I don’t believe those who do not support Trump. They all have agendas not related to Christian values; namely speaking the truth.

Now with that said I wear a mask in public; try to socially distance, and try to remember to wash my hands when I get back into the car or house. I consider those things to be not overly burdensome and if the virus is real, then I believe I am doing enough to keep my wife and I safe. I do believe there is a very contagious virus and I believe that if my wife and I get it, we will likely die.

Scripture says we are not to be anxious or overly concerned about anything. I am only concerned, but not anxious about this. There is a nuance between being concerned about something and being fearful about something.
