Listen to This Series - Incredible This series on the glory of Jesus Christ is life-changing and crucial for the growth of a Christian. I am so thankful to have heard this and listen to these sermons (parts 1-4) almost daily. Oh, to have a bigger view of Jesus - who came to earth and saved us from our sins! Thank you, Mr. Washer for preaching HIM.
Great Sermon! Thank you Lord for sending this message through pastor Paul to preach to us. This is a powerful message and love it. I have to thank my friend sister Nora who send this message to my other friend sister Cheryl who so sweetly forwarded it to me in an email. May the name of our Lord Jesus continue to be praised.
Great Sermon! I think for that sermons. Suicide has often come to mind, but I always though, that I would do an unjustice to my soul, or my relationship to God, If I went ahead with it. I always called out for God for help, and don't want to commit self murder, not for anyone or anything. What I do say is lord if it is your will, please take me, quite like that torn in the flesh. I would not only hurt my relationship, but hurt others; for example, my son, those that I provide with and importantly my relationship to my lord and savior. Life is unfair, but until God calls me, I have to endure it until the end.
Great Sermon! Although I know not one of us are worthy of Gods grace but through Jesus Christ we have been redeemed, for those of us who call on him and ask him to come and live through us. A true christian would not take his own life because the holy spirit lives in him and the desire is to do the will of God which is to learn Gods word and share the good news and then pass it foward so that no man shall perish. even though the flesh still desires to do the worldly stuff, and battles daily as a growing christian who reads there bible, bible study and pray we start to understand that everything we go through is temporary. We start feeling that love that he talks about for the rest of the people in the world. And therefore suicide should not even come to thought. Because if you are truly sincere in your love for God then your job here on earth is not done until he says it is. From the very beginning his intentions for us was to have eternal life.
Great Sermon! Hello,
Just listened to this sermon. I agree with all you said. It does bring one thing to mind for me, which is 1 Cor.7:15
I'm curious about that verse. It sounds like if an unbeliever leaves, and you cannot stop them...it says the "believing" man or woman is not bound in such circumstances..
What about if the spouse who leaves is a proclaiming Christian, couldn't you say that they are not or they would follow God's commands.
Also, in the verses about allowing divorce due to adultery, what would you say to the verse (Matt.5:27) when Jesus talks about looking lustfully at another has already committed adultery?
This stuff can go on and on with digging into different verses.
My personal ideas are believing in forgiveness. I think that both people are probably not living up to what they should be in the marriage if adultery occurs too. (1 Cor. chpt. 7)
Some people look for loop holes.
Thanks for a very great sermon! I enjoy listening to many of your sermons and they've helped me grow a lot.
Flee to Jesus for Refuge The way Tim Conway presents these truths should help anyone struggling with the fear that they might have committed the unpardonable sin. I struggled greatly with this fear a couple years ago, and this (what Tim Conway is teaching on) is exactly the way God brought me through this. Such praise in my heart for our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ! Run to Him, He will never turn you away!
Great Sermon! Good message but sound quality bad. The hum might go away if you use a cord and break the ground pin off so the sound system is not grounded if that doesn't work music instrument stores may have a box you can plug the mic into to stop it. A mic box I use is ''Apex ADP1 Direct Box.When using equipment like computers It is best to use battery power.Thank you.
