Wonderful Lord! I am so thankful for this message! I never thought about Jesus as our worship leader, I always thought about Him only as the receiver of worship, not as the Leader in worship. He brings us together as a family, He leads us in singing praises, He preaches to us and He meets our needs.
God changes lives. 450th anniversary of the Scottish Reformation. A parallel between the apostle Paul and Patrick Hamilton, between their natural upbringing and their conversion to Christ.
Great courage. Even after Jesus' death, God moves the heart of Joseph to make a public step and to ask for the right of burying the body of Jesus. At the death of Christ God is still giving from His grace to people.
Great joy. Seeing Jesus again by faith in His Word overcomes our griefs. And there will be a day when we will see Him face to face. Then our joy will be complete.
Great assurance. Great assurance: the presence of the Spirit of God in us guarantees that God will raise our bodies through the power of the Spirit, as He did with His Son.
Great salvation. Only God could conquer the sin which condemned us, and Satan, through the death of His Son, who was lifted up on a cross to die for our sins.
Source of all blessings. God is the source of all spiritual blessings and of prosperity in a nation. We must acknowledge our dependence on Him and to pray to Him for all these blessings.
Great Sermon! Thankyou Jonathan for your amazing testimony and how you overcame your terrifying ordeal with your family. Praise God He got you through it and you can glorify Him because of it. God is good! A very encouraging sermon which I really needed to hear.
God-centered. God is the source of all things, His power is at work in us and through us and all things have the goal of glorifying God. A God-centered message from the favorite text of James Boice, at the 10th anniversary of his death.
Great separation. Two mindsets, two ways of life, which lead to two destinations. A way of the Spirit which is life and peace and which leads to life, and a way of death which leads to eternal death.
