Frank, I'm sure you meant in your first post, that it should be the goal of every Christian woman to be a wife and mother? That might be what penned was addressing. Just a thought. |

ladybug wrote: Dolores, I pray for you and your husband, and for your entire family. The Lord is most gracious and merciful, even in times of testing and trials. He uses these trials to refine His people, making them more into the image of our great Savior. I want to share this excellent quote from Spurgeon concerning the brethren... "I wish, brothers and sisters, that we could all imitate "the pearl oyster"—A hurtful particle intrudes itself into its shell, and this vexes and grieves it. It cannot reject the evil, but what does it do but "cover" it with a precious substance extracted out of its own life, by which it turns the intruder into a pearl! Oh, that we could do so with the provocations we receive from our fellow Christians, so that pearls of patience, gentleness, and forgiveness might be bred within us by that which otherwise would have harmed us." —Charles Spurgeon Ladybug, Many thanks for posting C. Spurgeon's quote. Oh, for grace to put it into action... |

Mourner, Good Lord's Day. Thank you for 'The Expert Searcher' was balm for my soul. Was a blessing for us to be able to encourage our sister today..the Lord knew just what she needed. The One who will one day change our vile body and make it like His glorious body is alive, See Hebrews 10:37. In sickness and in health, in life and in death, let us lean continually on Him. |

To the poster JoJo... Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 4:29.

Today's feminism is not so much about equal pay for equal work. It has taken on a more evil and sinister face as totally wanting to blur the lines concerning womanhood. The lesbian, sodomite, transgendered, cross dressing, skinny jeans wearing, sagging britches, individuals of our country are shoving down our throats what and how male and female are to be in society. This country has been turned over.. Pray, pray and pray. I fear for our young people. |

1517 wrote: Dorcas, A day late....I just read your post. Total agreement with you. Unfortunately the priests are more RCC than shepherds and presenters of the Gospel. 1517, Thanks for your reply. Agree with you also. |

1517 wrote: Dorcas, What does your statement mean? I don't know the gospel or the priests? 1517, Being clear in my comments doesn't seem to be my strong point today. Romish priests do not know the gospel of grace, or will not preach it because they are anathematized by their organization. So my point was in answer to your post to John Y concerning them preaching the gospel... They neither know it, nor possess it. All they can preach is sacramentalism and works. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Dorcas, as men of Satan, they shouldn't be preaching anything. as you well know the devil can quote Scripture. they are not man of God, and you never have to hear one, to know that, ]]http://www.gty.org/Resources/Sermons/80-264 (The Scandal of the Catholic Priesthood) Do you ever actually read the comments, Jim? I was commenting on what 1517 had posted. RC cult priests can not give to others( the gospel) what they themselves have no knowledge or understanding of, or are possessors of! |

Mourner wrote: 1517 There is no reformed church in my general location and the nearest is over 200 miles away. I left a Baptist Church who held to the 1689 over worship and they were very close to what I believed A regards the regulative principle. I believe it is not as easy as you assert what does it mean that you cannot except that there is no congregation for believers to join together in worship? other than your promoting religious pluralism? That's not reformed Phil.3:13-21 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
