Frank,
I'm sure you meant in your first post, that it should be the goal of every Christian woman to be a wife and mother?
That might be what penned was addressing.
Just a thought.

Dolores,
I pray for you and your husband, and for your entire family. The Lord is most gracious and merciful, even in times of testing and trials. He uses these trials to refine His people, making them more into the image of our great Savior.
I want to share this excellent quote from Spurgeon concerning the brethren...
"I wish, brothers and sisters, that we could all imitate "the pearl oyster"—A hurtful particle intrudes itself into its shell, and this vexes and grieves it. It cannot reject the evil, but what does it do but "cover" it with a precious substance extracted out of its own life, by which it turns the intruder into a pearl! Oh, that we could do so with the provocations we receive from our fellow Christians, so that pearls of patience, gentleness, and forgiveness might be bred within us by that which otherwise would have harmed us."
—Charles Spurgeon
Ladybug,
Many thanks for posting C. Spurgeon's quote.
Oh, for grace to put it into action...

Mourner,
Good Lord's Day.
Thank you for 'The Expert Searcher' was balm for my soul.
Was a blessing for us to be able to encourage our sister today..the Lord knew just what she needed.
The One who will one day change our vile body and make it like His glorious body is alive,
See Hebrews 10:37.
In sickness and in health, in life and in death, let us lean continually on Him.

To the poster JoJo...
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Today's feminism is not so much about equal pay for equal work.
It has taken on a more evil and sinister face as totally wanting to blur the lines concerning womanhood.
The lesbian, sodomite, transgendered, cross dressing, skinny jeans wearing, sagging britches, individuals of our country are shoving down our throats what and how male and female are to be in society.
This country has been turned over..
Pray, pray and pray.
I fear for our young people.

1517,
Thanks for your reply.

Dorcas,
What does your statement mean? I don't know the gospel or the priests?
1517,
Being clear in my comments doesn't seem to be my strong point today.
Romish priests do not know the gospel of grace, or will not preach it because they are anathematized by their organization.
So my point was in answer to your post to John Y concerning them preaching the gospel...
They neither know it, nor possess it.
All they can preach is sacramentalism and works.

Do you ever actually read the comments, Jim?
I was commenting on what 1517 had posted.
RC cult priests can not give to others( the gospel) what they themselves have no knowledge or understanding of, or are possessors of!

Thank-you for sharing that wonderful testimony John.
It has encouraged me to never give up praying for our family and telling them of a Saviour who delights in mercy!

Sister , I would suggest how inescapable the importance of heads of households taking their God mandated instruction of leading and teaching their family in godliness.
When fathers hearts are not turned to their children, and children's hearts are not turned to their fathers, what a pitiful spiritual
condition is manifested.
Dysfunctional families abound in this country and it's 'churches'
Sure sign of a disintegrating nation!

Recently a faithful servant and martyr for the Lord Jesus Christ, was brought to my attention.
Until a few days ago I had never heard of him.
Please search Wikipedia for Pastor Paul Schneider.
He was the first Protestant Pastor to be martyred by the Nazi's.

I believe it is not as easy as you assert what does it mean that you cannot except that there is no congregation for believers to join together in worship? other than your promoting religious pluralism? That's not reformed

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Praise God for His great mercy and love in adding you to His family.
I am amazed every day that He chose me!

I live in a very remote small community.
There is RC, Pentecostals, and Mormon organizations.
We were saved by God's mercy from the cult of Romanism , we will have nothing to do with cults, ecumenism, or false religion, if you choose to fellowship in that environment....knock yourself out and stop with the self-righteous attitude towards others.
Good day.
