SF from TX wrote: All the comments have been great. My husband and I have three children we lost early on, four girls, and are pregnant with our first boy! Funny and sad thing is that I was mistaken as a catholic today and when I said I wasn't one they said I must be mormon. Once I said I wasn't a mormon either they were dumbfounded. Sadly most christians share their view of children with the world, not the Lord. SF, Wonderful news sister on your expected little boy. Will remember you in prayer. Every blessing to you and yours. |

Dave wrote: Dorcas, that's wonderful News! And my offer still stands, if I can be of any assistance to you and your situation, please in the name of Jesus ask. God Bless and will be praying for health security and comfort for your family Brother Dave, Thank-you for your kindness. I am a little confused concerning your comment about my "situation" Is it possible that you were thinking of Dolores? ---- Christopher, Thanks...hope you are well. ----- US, Yes we are very excited but I'm afraid a little bittersweet too. The little one will not be born into a Christian home, so we are in fervent prayer in regard to that situation and that we will be given much liberty and access to speak on the wonderful joy of knowing our Great God. If the Lord should so lead, would appreciate prayers from any who read this. Thank-you and may the Lord richly bless you all. |

Christopher000 wrote: Hi Dorcas, you know I love ya so no disrespect is intended, but I don't understand because most headlines posted are not edifying and I would never post such information without doing my homework first. I posted it up as a followup to the previous story concerning his actions. Actions I felt were way in the past, handled internallly, and forgiven. I posted this up because it's a pattern that he never seemed to get victory over as I had previously given him credit for. As it turns out, not only did he have two active accounts for many years that have been used even recently, but he has gone further, admitting that he has been cheating on his wife. I feel everyone would have heard about it anyway, regardless of whether I posted it up or not, and .if nothing else, now he and his family have more people to.pray for them. : ) That's fine, for the Christian sin is not the norm. But those that name the name of Christ and have fallen we need to show grace and mercy, not being seduced into gossip and finger pointing. That being said, everyone of us face temptations and everyone of us will fail or have failed at some level. 'There is none righteous,no not one.' When these sins are exposed, I see much finger pointing. |

Michael Hranek wrote: Dorcas You are entirely right what true Christian would ever wish such a thing. Here is a potential problem our churches are infested with both immature Christians and tares among the wheat, and they can corrupt us if we are not seriously on guard. Something I sadly have encountered first hand, and likely others here on SermonAudio have as well. If you ever read or have read David Platt's book Radical, this kind of thing was one of the most heartbreaking experiences he encounter. Chapter 4 The Great Why of God pages 61,62 Thank-you Michael for your reply. I agree with your comment. We always need to be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves in our discernment and walk with the LORD. Blessings in the Beloved. |
