@ Carl, Douglas, Frank, John UK,I have noticed the adversary using women to advance evil in society as well. It began in Genesis 3. So many problems would be solved if women were occupying their God-given station as keepers at home, guiding the house and under the headship of godly husbands and fathers. I routinely think about how damaging feminism is. |

Natalie wrote: No mention of the elephant in the room i.e. parental divorce. It means that young people enter adult life less resilient and less confident, and with their emotional batteries only half-charged. This plays out over a lifetime. Most people don't want to hear this sombre truth but if you want your kids to do well make it your job to have a strong marriage, even when your kids are grown up. It gives them a strong base for life and means they can possibly present their own children with intact grandparents down the line. Not a bad outcome... Thanks for your comment; this is a good point. Divorce--period--is often the elephant in the room. |

Exodus 20:14 is not outdated. Adultery is as much a sin as it ever was.I understand the concerns of this man's wife. I certainly would not want a husband travelling alone with and having dinners together with any woman other than me, his wife! Such is a godly jealousy {II Cor. 11:2} to preserve obedience to God's word and spare reproach to His name, as well as to uphold one's own name and testimony. Yet again, trouble surfaces when women are not keepers at home, as the Bible commands. "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall" {Proverbs 16:18}. |

Douglas Fir wrote: I guess Jesus was talking pseudo-profound nonsense, too: John 10:10 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Thanks; I wondered if someone quoted this when I clicked to read the comments! |

Frank wrote: There is “no American politician” that will simply say homosexuality is an abomination in God’s eyes and all those that practice it will suffer His wrath. Our culture will say that is a form of judgment, but it is simply repeating what God’s word says. What that means to me is fame and notoriety are more important than the word of God and that applies to many who claim the name of Christ. Homosexuality is an abomination, abortion is murder, greed is idolatry, the feminist movement is evil in any form and Christianity is an exclusive faith. Luke 6:46 “But why do you call Me â€Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? I think even the politicians who profess to be Christian regard Biblical Christianity as a liability to their careers.I appreciate your comment regarding feminism. I hear some people make a distinction between moderate and radical feminism, as if the former is OK. Feminism has ALWAYS been rooted in rebellion against God's authority and His having made us male and female. The female is to be an help meet for her husband, look well unto the ways of her household, do her husband good and not evil all the days of her life, be a keeper at home, bear children, etc. Thanks for your comment and God bless. |

Frank wrote: Yes, I have always said that the real war against women is when society seeks to make them relevant in ways that God didn't intend for them. Greetings, Brother Frank. Yes, the real war on women is against them marrying, bearing children, guiding the house, being keepers at home, submissive to their own husbands, the aged women teaching the young women the things they are to teach them in Titus 2:3-5, etc. In other words, everything that is Biblical.Feminists are perfectly fine with women choosing to do anything and everything--except submitting themselves to God and obeying Scripture. |
