Genesis 9:6 Yes; this was what I thought of as well. Sadly, we live in a world which lieth in wickedness {I John 5:19}, and people are past feeling and have consciences seared with a hot iron {Ephesians 4:19; I Timothy 4:2}. The devil has blinded many from seeing abortion for what it is: premeditated murder. |

The Quiet Christian wrote: Once upon a time, Christians recognized the importance of living a lifestyle that reflected the salvation that brought them out of the world. We need to go back to that time & stop trying to figure out how to fit as much of the world as we possibly can into our Christian testimonies. Amen. |

ladybug wrote: This is ecumenism at its finest. All these man- made denominations/religions lining up is no surprise to the true elect of God. This is another reason why it is wise NOT to identify with any particular group/camp like 'reformed' or Roman Catholicism. Good comment, sister. Indeed, I marvel at the allegiance some have for a particular church or denomination. In many cases, it seems to rival if not surpass the preeminence that should be Christ's alone. |

Youth in Asia wrote: That is why I would prefer to elope and skip all the useless ceremonies, and wasted money. I understand this perspective and have often thought this would be the better way to go myself. However, I do wonder if elopement is dishonoring to one's parents... As for the "earlymoons," bad idea. They have the appearance of evil and present too much opportunity for sin. |

Great Broadcast! Good warnings about emotionalism and sentimentality and the danger of living by feelings. "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord..." {Isaiah 1:18}. Reason needs to be based upon the unchanging truth of the Bible, not the fickleness of feelings. |
