penny wrote: but this sunday, rest assured we'll hear sermons about "the best me" and self help for failing marriages and communities. self absorbed theology and arrested development, core tenents of the sleeping church. Yep, that pretty well sums it up, sadly. |

Watcher wrote: Indeed. Why a woman would want to lead a church is beyond me. Raising children and taking care of her husband's needs is hard enough, never mind throwing all of that into her lap as well. It's unnatural! Amen! |

The Quiet Christian wrote: Odd concept. Once upon a time, young people in their teens and early 20s could be relied upon to work as craftsmen and professionals while raising families. Because kids apparently aren't taught to be responsible adults anymore, we have to push the age of majority upward? At the same time, we in the Christian community expect our kids to keep their sexuality within the bounds of marriage between a husband and wife. Instead of delaying when peers can marry, the pursuit of teenagers by older men excepted, we want to push those covenants further into the future? NOT a good idea to set up kids to burn rather than marry. Yes and amen; much wisdom in your comment, TQC. From a Biblical perspective, delaying marriage is fraught with all manner of sinful perils {I Corinthians 7:2,9}. Unwed parenthood is another common result. A woman's fertility may expire if marriage is delayed too long; this is usually a grave regret. |

Dolores wrote: I embrace my femininity as a wonderful gift of God. I like being taken care of and protected. It is so sad that the devil has deceived many women into thinking that this is actually oppressive. Being a keeper at home {Titus 2:3-5} is the best position for a woman. Plus, a lot of men are deceived by feminism too, so there don't even seem to be many left who want to bear the responsibility of providing for their own and specially for their own house {I Tim. 5:8}. |

Backwoods Duck Farmer wrote: Let's remember that all this started when the western world normalized women in the workforce. It was one of the first steps to erasing gender lines. Yes; great observation and comment. You are absolutely correct. |

Praise Be to God! Thank you for sharing your testimony. I've listened to quite a few of your broadcasts but had no idea until now just what the Lord saved you from. I was really blessed and encouraged by this! |

Frank wrote: No genuine Christian male would marry a woman who even desired to keep her last name. Amen, Brother Frank! And don't even get me started on those who take the maiden name of their wives as their own name... |

Christopher000 wrote: A great testament to the fact that these people, the liberals, are so filled with hatred and have a hatred for Christianity as defined by God's Word. The ironic thing is that it's not like they're all Athiests either, as the bulk of them actually sit in a church on Saturdays/Sundays, so go figure. I fear many who inhabit church buildings and pews have not been born again. |

Dr. Tim wrote: Sola scriptura--only the Bible-- is a grand doctrine. But what about omnes scriptura, or ALL of the Bible? In the English language, that can only be the KJB. All of the others leave out words and even whole verses. In order for man to live "by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God," he must first HAVE every word. Amen. |

Dr. Tim wrote: How can any truly born-again child of God remain in a United Methodist church? Good question. I'm troubled by the loyalty some people have for a church or a denomination even when its disregard of and disobedience to the Bible is so blatantly obvious. |
