Danielle,I have prayed for God to give you the desire of your heart, which He placed in you to begin with. It's rare for a young woman not to have embraced the feminist agenda. I'd imagine finding a God-fearing man who will lead you in the ways of the Lord and provide for his household won't be easy, but with God, all things are possible. You may have to wait for a bit, but for His sake, it will be worth it, and you can't have a better man than the one of God's choosing, trust me. :-) |

Frank wrote: Oh and God said that sex outside of marriage was a sin and men have always wanted to have sex with whomever and whenever they like. I brought up this because I am sometimes referred to as a misogynist. Without the support of carnal men, abortion would go nowhere. Brother Frank, I don't know you personally, of course, but you're no misogynist. Actually, it's men who support feminism that are misogynists, as well as haters of God, since feminism is the opposite of Him having created women to marry, bear children, and guide the house {I Tim. 5:14}.Women certainly are not blameless in the matter of feminism, but...how many women were on the SCOTUS when the Roe v. Wade ruling occurred? How many women were in Congress when the 19th Amendment {woman's suffrage, or the "right" to vote} was ratified? Feminists largely owe their rights, so to speak, to men, yet it's still not enough and they are still misandrists {i.e., man haters}. |

The Quiet Christian wrote: The entertainment model of worship has to go. Amen. It's sad and discouraging to me that this model has practically taken over the landscape in many Western countries. |

The Bible commands us to abstain from all appearance of evil {I Thessalonians 5:22}.Senator Harris is a wicked woman. She appears to have no sorrow--godly or otherwise--for laying with a married man to further her career. She is now legally married to a divorcee. May God have mercy on her and lead her to repentance. And, of course, as a woman, she should not be the President, anyway! Society has suffered severely since women have largely abdicated their keeper at home duties as wives and mothers in favor of pursuing occupations, which is the place and domain of men. |

Phillip Mezzapelle wrote: 40% of children born in the U.S. are raised by unmarried parents. So this should come as no surprise. Among some specific people groups, it's even higher. No doubt divorcing and "remarrying" {adultery according to Jesus in the synoptic Gospels} is further contributing to confusion and lack of knowledge. |

Great Sermon! I thank God for Biblical sermons on this subject matter {this one and the "Marks of a Virtuous Woman" sermon}. I can always use counsel to reject worldly womanhood and feminism in favor of God's will for women and having respect unto the place, position, and role He has given to the female. Praise the Lord and thank you for posting these sermons! |

Plain Old Tim wrote: I despise feminism because its real aim is the feminization of men and the masculinization of women, which is clearly a satanic strategy to cause people to rebel against God. Vive la difference, because the difference was designed by the Creator for a reason. Well said, Tim. Your comment sums up my reason for hating feminism. Indeed, God made them male and female. Rebellion against this makes a mockery of His creation and order. God will not be mocked. |

JDIG wrote: Seems to me, we are focusing on the consequences of an action rather then the action. Unwanted pregnancies are not the problem, it's the consequence of sex outside of marriage. Yes some married women are having abortions, but the majority are not. The problem is that to many people enjoy sex outside of marriage and would like the consequences of their actions to be hid by abortion rather then accept it. Again the root of the problem is our appetite for sin. Good comment and observation. I've thought about this as well. Sermons specifically exposing fornication for the sin that it is and imploring repentance from it seem rather rare. |
