Airplane passenger stands for '6 hours' so 'his wife could sleep'
Courtney Lee Johnson originally shared the photo on Twitter, praising the man for his actions. Johnson, a life coach, captioned the photo, âThis guy stood up the whole 6 hours so his wife could sleep. Now that is love.â
While the post didnât include details on how long the overall flight was, where they were flying from and what airline it happened on, that didnât stop Twitter users from commenting on the supposedly romantic move. The original post garnered over 3,000 retweets and over 15,000 reactions....
Not a credible ânewsâ article.Just a social media soundbite pic with no details,( how long the flight, flight pattern, if they really were husband and wife, perhaps he had a medical condition which required him to stand.) To sketchy; Fox got this foisted on them on a slow news day.đ
Now, how do we know that she doesn't have some control issues, and didn't order him to stand for the entire flight? How do we know he just can't stand her, and couldn't get himself to brush elbows with her for six hours? Love on his end, perhaps, but love on her end, expecting him to stand there for six hours? How about a pillow on his lap, and her laying across him, which seems more reasonable.
I know I'm being pessimistic đ, and am half joking, but it was his choice, so none of my business.
The other side is that maybe he stood so she would be more comfortable, for a quick nap, but she passed out for those six hours, and he chose to just let her sleep. I'd give him a pat on the back for love, and selflessness, in that case.
for that guy. I know that there are many husband out there, who love his wife so much, but can't do like this. I hope next time the flight attendance will notice and helps him find another seat. And I hope this is a real story, internet is full of lie though.
The other day I stood for fifteen minutes while my wife rubbed my shoulders, and an additional ten minutes while she made my bed, and I didnât receive one word of recognition on social media. But who said life is fair?
