“ Fantastic series ” This series on assurance has helped me so much. I lived with this constant spiritual anxiety hanging over me, yet didn’t know what it was. This has been a lightbulb moment for me in my Christian life and I’m so thankful. Such a meaty look at the doctrine of assurance yet very simply explained so I was able to understand. Very thankful and can highly recommend.
“ A must hear for every growing believer! ” God really answered my prayer last night. It’s the first time I’ve come across a sermon on the advantages of indwelling sin and I needed this so much. Not like he says, that I may then take advantage of grace but rather, that I would not sink further into sin & depression at the despair of my sin; that I would be better equipped and armed with truth for the good fight of faith. Open yourself up to input from others.
Ask your wife her opinion on matters.
Ask other people their opinion on matters.
Listen to the criticism from your wife.
Listen to the criticism from others.
Intentionally open yourself up to information, feedback, counsel, input, advice, and criticisms of others.
This helps remove arrogance and ignorance.
The fool is wise in his own eyes; he does not care what others have to say.

Proverbs 9:9 = Receive instruction, be taught, increase in learning.
Arrogant people say "I know, I know, I know" so that you stop talking to them.
A wise man says "I know, but I could know more" or "I know, but I could know it better".
Proverbs 11:14 = No guidance - You fall; Have counselors - Be safe
Proverbs 13:20 = Being with those who are wise increases wisdom.

Great sinners in the world have different problems, such as trying to grasp that God actually loves them and is willing to save them. Praise God that Christ died for the ungodly, and saves all that call upon him.
