Best Answer To Christians And Government Paul Washer has such a way with illustrations. He gave a great illustration about our love for Christ and fasting. Also, about how a Christian should interact with government. I know a lot of preachers are going on about the new world order and how corrupt government is. All true. However Mr. Washer gives a solid, balanced view. I am grateful for this man of God who doesn't go off into extremes.
Recommended I got a lot out of the discussion about Song of Solomon. Overall, this is good treatment of sex talk and vulgar language in the pulpit. We should stop striving to be so culturally relevant and focus on the timeless truth of the gospel.
Powerful, Wonderful Sermon This sermon is among the best I have ever heard! Paul Washer preaches like the old time preachers, with so much meat from the word of God. I have listened to other sermons by this man of God, and I have heard him say he doesn't use the KJV on the mission field, that it is one of the hardest versions to use with those who don't speak English. I am not a fan of all the new versions, but if this man can preach with the power that he does, it proves my point that dividing the body of Christ over the KJV is not right. I hope Paul Washer continues to preach the truth of God's word with the power and conviction of the Holy Spirit for many years to come.
Great Sermon! How sad it is that a sermon like this needs to be preached. Filthy talk from the pulpit! Who would ever believe it? I feel sick from what I heard is a common joke for Mark Driscoll to use. May he repent before it's too late.
A much needed message… This is a powerful, straight to the point message on the fundamental importance of prayer in all aspects of our life and ministry. The points Mr. Washer makes have challenged me so much like plunging a sword into me and twisting the sword round and round. I encourage everyone to watch and listen to this message right through, and after get on your knees and pray bitterly and get right with God.
Paul Washer Is Blessed By the Almighty I am not Baptist - I am Apostolic and let me tell you - Paul Washer is one heck of a preacher! This man preaches HOLINESS...His messages cut across all denominations.
I didn't not know that the Baptists had preachers such as this man - but God bless him.
Oh that the Lord would strengthen all preachers to stand on God's word as Paul Washer does.
God bless him indeed!
Great Sermon! America has turned Jesus into lilly livered flower child. Hell is so stark a reality that only God the Son bleeding and dying is able to save us from it. The Jesus of religious is whatever men want him to be. The Jesus of the Bible is Savior, Creator, Lord, Judge and God of all men.
Tim has not bought into the spirit of the age, but preaches and defends the faith once for all deliverd unto the Saints. Perhaps the church tinks that by not mentioning Hell it just might go away? It won't. The wages of sin is still death and the wicked will be turned into hell!
Pastor Tim, hell will receive many, Heaven few. Knowing this, how can Believers deny hell? It takes love without guile to preach on hell!

Great Sermon! FYI,
I translated this sermon and found that what Paul Washer in minute 56 is:
This is like in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
I found some other errancies in other sermon, would you like to know about that?
Great Sermon! Brother Musselman; I think that was the best sermon I've ever heard of that section in the Bible on judging/not judging others. It is so complex. When I read it, it makes me realize that though I am a Christian, I am still very much a sinner/imperfect. We are suppose to develop a mind like Christ. This passage makes me realize how far short I still am from that goal. I use to ask myself when judging a situation/person, what would John the Baptist do? Unlike John, I still have a 2 x 4 beam in my eye, though a little smaller than it use to be. This warning helps keep a lid on my natural fleshly sinful nature to find faults in others without self-examination. Your sermon help to clarify what the mind of Christ is like in this area. Everyone should hear this sermon, especially the well intentioned hyper critical type. I ask myself, "would I sincerely be happy if Michael Jackson became a Christian"? YES I WOULD. If the answer is no, then I think I need to reexamine my motive for judging. I will be passing this sermon along to other Christian brothers and sisters. God Bless your ministry. We need more preachers of God's Word like you.
Great Sermon! Brother Paul, while the devil is pushing, just remember God's got your back. Thank God for a man or women that takes a stand such as this.Keep telling it know matter what, if anyone has anything to say about it talk to me. Keep up the great work...I am praying for you.
Amen Hallelujah! I find myself in repentance & self-examination over Michael's death. I am a huge fan of his music! I agree that only after we die - will we know the truth about his heart - did he make a deathbed conversion or a childhood profession of faith & trusted Christ even with his sins & demons? At his funeral - one pastor said "We are like dust...Now Michael must bow the knee to the King of Kings...in Jesus'glorious name, amen."
Really good Sermon This sermon cleared up a lot of confusion about repentance for me. It shows that we have to do something but at the same time its grace given by God that we can do it. People cant sit around waiting for some zap. It is a must watch sermon for anyone that is struggling with understanding repentance.
Great Sermon! My comment is to the last two brothers who commented before me. There is nothing wrong w/ the hip-hop or rap genre in and of itself, the problem is when men w/ sinful hearts and minds take something perfectly neutral such as hip hop and pollute it w/ sin. You cant possibly tell me that that something as simple and a bass drum beat and the rhyming over that beat is sin in itself, the problem is when men steeped in sin choose to glorify that sin and ppl w/ sin filled hearts choose willingly to indulge in that from of music. If hip hop were sin itself that would mean almost every other genre of music would be sin also: rock, country, and even what we call gospel music today all have roots in secular society. The thing that happened in most cases is that God in his mercy redeemed certain ppl out of that particular context and those ppl chose to continue to pursue the music that they enjoyed, but chose to use the music to bring Glory to Jesus which is why he created the music in the first place (Col 1:16). Please brothers and sisters don't be deceived the Lord can choose to use whatever he sees fit to brig glory to his name, if he can use a donkey to bring a man to repentance(Num 22:28) he can most defiantly use rap music to draw men and women to himself.
Great Sermon! Pastor Musselman,
This was the first tape of yours I have listened to and I was very impressed. It was uplifting to listen to. You quoted more scripture in 20 minutes than most churches do in a year.
I have one negative comment to make sir. Although Jackson is most assuredly in Hell, ONLY God can make that judgement. Though doubtful, maybe Jackson had a deathbed conversion. I thought the sermon came across as judgemental of his fate. It was entirely accurate and biblical about his actions and the fruit he bared. His fate is with God alone. I thought your sermon passed jugement on his fate.
I look forward to hearing more of your sermons and may God bless your ministry!
