“ Public Thank You ” A brief public thank you for this interview. I have recently had some controversy with 'church leadership' over this very kind of youth event in my words 'saturated with the world' but sold to churches as reaching youth with the gospel. Your observations of the environment that you gave 'Shocking Youth Message' in was greatly reasurring that the concerns I have for present day Christian Youth Culture are valid and how greatly I need the Lord to take a stand that will honor Him in addressing them. Thank You Brother Washer. It is encouraging to be reminded to keep my eyes on Him and to not be conformed to the present day "religious world" that is going astry from Him even if they draw crowds of 5000 teens.
“ A Blessing! ” This sermon was such a blessing - praise God for Paul Washer's preaching. And just as he said we need more people out there willing to speak the truth, as harsh as it may be. Thank you!

“ Great Sermon! ” There is no need to excuse this message. Not only the american church needs preaching like this! The whole church of the western world needs more preaching like this. We need more men like Paul. When people criticize sermons like this one, they should check them selvs! I was extremly provoked the first time I heard this sermon. But when i listen to it now, I understand that it was me, not the preacher God wanted to change! People still get saved from this message!

“ Great Sermon! ” The 'shocking youth message' was the first thing I ever heard of P. Washer's preaching, and it was the thing that once and for all set me straight on some very foolish questions (ideas about compromising, 'if other christian kids do it, it's ok' stuff) I had in my head about how a Christian should be, at a time when I was very confused and never read the Bible.
It was that night a turning point in my life to hear it, I remember trying to get all my friends to listen to it later in the week and they would act disgusted or get all philosophical against it and I would become so frustrated haha....
The thing is, after listening I found myself crying to God face down on my bedroom floor at 3am or so, and for the first time; I shook at the thought of his presence, realized my unbelief and thought I was going to die then and there...
Never before had God been real to me.
I was naive to be surprised to see all the lashing out against this sermon.
But if I am not wrong, somebody once said (I am bad with quotes or remembering who said them lol) basically if nobody is getting upset about what you're saying, you're probably not saying something very important :)

“ Todays top 1 ” 1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of:
2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
“ John Flavel, The Fountain of Life ” The title of the John Flavel work mentioned in this sermon (and others by Washer) is "The Fountain of Life" and can be found online. The bargain is in "Sermon 3. Opens the Covenant of Redemption betwixt the Father and the Redeemer" in the application "Use 6".
By the way, "abatement" is a financial term for reducing the amount owed. This goes along with the bargain, which is expressed in financial terms. Washer always explains it with a non-financial definition.
“ Great Sermon! ” Mr Washer is one of the only preachers who has ever pointed out all of the things that i never thought about and I thank GOD for men like him that really make me evaluate myself daily.
“ Wow! ” I'm always amazed how Washer preaches. I don't know how he does it, but through God, he manages to outdue himself. Very convicting with intensity that makes you fall on your knees from all of the prosperity of the US.
“ Great Sermon! ” I absolutely loved this sermon! He was very good at getting his great point across, and he didn't seem afraid to do it either. Go C.J. Mahaney!!! Keep on preaching!!!
