Great Sermon! Brother Musselman; I think that was the best sermon I've ever heard of that section in the Bible on judging/not judging others. It is so complex. When I read it, it makes me realize that though I am a Christian, I am still very much a sinner/imperfect. We are suppose to develop a mind like Christ. This passage makes me realize how far short I still am from that goal. I use to ask myself when judging a situation/person, what would John the Baptist do? Unlike John, I still have a 2 x 4 beam in my eye, though a little smaller than it use to be. This warning helps keep a lid on my natural fleshly sinful nature to find faults in others without self-examination. Your sermon help to clarify what the mind of Christ is like in this area. Everyone should hear this sermon, especially the well intentioned hyper critical type. I ask myself, "would I sincerely be happy if Michael Jackson became a Christian"? YES I WOULD. If the answer is no, then I think I need to reexamine my motive for judging. I will be passing this sermon along to other Christian brothers and sisters. God Bless your ministry. We need more preachers of God's Word like you.
