“ Amen! ” That is so good. I first read the transcript of this message, and my thought was this, if I didn't know this was Paul Washer I'd think it was A. W. Tozer.
“ Convicting! ” Thank you, Tim. This sermon was a much needed challenge. I am going to study the commands of Christ so I can obey Him more intentionally.
“ Humbling ” This message is personal for Mr. Washer because he reveals deep heart issues such as his battle with depression . This is a must listen for anyone caught up in the snare of idolizing preachers .
“ Great Sermon! ” What a wonderful blessing to find true Biblical ministry on the subject of eschatology.
I have known the truth for many years, and it is such grief that it is so little understood because it is necessary for the proper understanding of so much of Scripture, and few Christians seem willing to question false teaching on the subject.
May these sermons be blessed abundantly by the Holy Spirit to all who listen.

“ Amazing sermon! ” I too have heard many sermons on this parable, but I’ve never heard half of what is in this sermon. To name just one, the explanation of the culture of shame and honor at that time was very enlightening.
Dr. MacArthur’s ending for the incomplete story was absolutely shocking! But of course, it was and is the truth. We get comfortable with the gospel sometimes, and we forget how shocking it is.
