Consistent Bible reading is a mark of true conversion and essential for growth in grace in the Christian life. But we can also greatly supplement our Bible reading with books written by men and women throughout the history of the Church. Christian books can be life-transforming for us and richly supply the our spiritual needs. We must not dare neglect the Bible, but we also shouldn't dismiss the benefit of reading solid Christian literature.

FANTASTIC These Brothers in Christ know what they are talking about. I was frantically scribbling names and titles of all the authors and books they mentioned. Fantastic .

Great Sermon! This clip is SOLID GOLD. Anyone desiring to serve God to the fullest would do well to take this advice to heart. I don't care if you are of the Reformed persuasion or not. (I'm not) Bro Washer is rare among the men of our generation, in my humble opinion, and his guidance, if followed, will change your life.

Excellent Advice on Reading This is some of the best advice I have ever heard on reading books, especially the Holy Bible. Every Christian should listen to this. Mr. Washer even gives his personal guidance on prayer and study time. This is a must listen.
