Great Sermon! I agree with everything here, but I will say the relative you mentioned who wants them to "bleed out" was most likely referring to the public school intstitution itself and not the people involved in it. I pray often that the public school system will crumble and fall. Why would any true believer send their children off to be indoctrinated 8+ hrs a day with Satanic doctrine of evolution, sodomy, feminism, trans-whateverism, etc?
Great Sermon! One of the very first questions I ask with any "new" stance in theology is: what have orthodox Christians believed throughout ALL of history. I know there are variances on small things here or there, but foundational beliefs have never changed. I always wonder what implications have for the saints that have come before us and the fact that for so long they "got it wrong".
Great Sermon! 2 Thessalonians 2:11 KJVÂ And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie
There is a great difference between being deluded and having a "strong delusion" caused by God. "Strong delusion" is the spiritual current even of our times that no one is talking about. To explain: I remember a time when I was a kid that I had to compromise and have a tea party with my sister so that she could later on play army with me. Sometimes I had to swallow my alpha male pride that killed the imaginary Nazis and put on one of my grandmother's wigs and sit with my sister for an afternoon tea with my little pinkie out. In those days we had parents to keep us kids "straight" when we boys strayed too far into our delusion and began to "soften" into our feminine tea-toddling roles or the girls hardened into army commandos.
Today God has caused a "strong delusion" to fall on those who should be responsible for upholding the basic concepts concerning gender and morality with our children (i.e. psychiatrists, politicians, parents, clergy). But they have suppressed and even rejected God's Truth for the lie that we term today as political correctness. Thus today we have a strongly deluded society enforcing the gender delusions of our kids.
Great Sermon! 3 John 1:2 KJVÂ Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
This is a favorite (if not the MOST favorite) verse for those who preach a prosperity Gospel. What they miss is the priority that the Apostle John places on Gaius' soul prospering by him walking in the truth (i.e. living and working out the affairs of his daily life using the principles of God's Word). Thank God that John recognizes that Gaius' soul is prospering in the present but his desire and prayer is that his business affairs as innkeeper and his health would "prosper" as well. It brought John great joy to hear from others that his children in the faith are walking in the truth of God's Word. And like any good parent the Apostle John desires that this child also prospers in all the affairs of life particularly in his financial affairs and health. Of course as an innkeeper Gaius apparently played an important part of spreading the Gospel by taking care of missionaries and other saints who needed a place to sojourn. When a saint prospers in these three areas then the Church can also prosper; but the soul must first prosper in the truth.
They forget Jesus' admonition that life is more than food and clothing.
Great Sermon! Wow‼️. An eye-opener‼️. Thank you, I believe so many of us let our phone control us. It's Satan 's instrument. We are the church and we need to act like it. Thank you for driving that point home. I pray that God Bless you🙏
Good discussion “But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.”

Great Sermon! Sometimes I can understand whY Catholics or other cults believe what they believe, from nunnery to the priesthood if anyone read this verse in that era, how could they not come to the conclusion that celibacy is the most important thing.
Same goes with other doctrines like water baptism, or eating Jesus, a casual look at some verses can make it seem like it's true.
Great Sermon! Hi Sean. Could you please pray for me. I'm in an abusive marriage. My wife is constantly shouting at me and now even my young children speak down to me. Its making me ill but I've nobody to turn to
UFC is just another sports entertainment I've been watching MMA for a long time, and it is very clear that the current UFC show is not totally focused on being a true sport, but on entertainment. This means that they will design a show to attract Advertisements, attract a special audience that will pay the 60$ for Payperview. And to do that they create and PROMOTE match ups, that are one sided, where the fighter they want to push because he or she promotes their worldview, or generates money due to their great microphone speaking skills which sells shows. The last women's fight really should not have happened, since the looser already lost horribly 2 years ago, and if smart people were betting money (and they do), and therefore a lot of money was made on collusion on sport that shares more with WWE than on an actual sport like NFL or NBA.
Great Sermon! So what about when I escaped from my abusive husband, and I have drifted so far away from the gospel during the marriage. Who am I supposed to talk to about that, if not the pastor? Should I just find the oldest woman in the church for spiritual guidance?
Great Sermon! I wish more clergy would come together often as you do and openly discuss issues like these so members would know where their leaders stand on various doctrines and current issues pertaining to the Church in general and their church in particular.
I have a question: Is the calling of God referenced in Romans 8:28 and 2 Timothy 1:9 :according to His purpose" of salvation, "according to His purpose" of office, or both. For instance was the calling and election of the Apostle Judas Iscariot was it for God's purpose to be Jesus' "Fisherman" unto salvation or was he called for God's purpose to betray Jesus and then go to "his own place;" (i.e. perdition, Hell)? In which case Jesus says that the Apostle Judas Iscariot was the only one that He lost?
Christians must be honest Amen. Great job guys in flushing out all the issues, including church government. The authors of the 1689 London Baptist Confession, Bunyan, Spurgeon, Gill, and today, MacArthur, Washer, Dever, et. al would be surprised that being Baptist disqualifies them from being Calvinist. It boggles the mind that a seminary President would commit such huge category errors and be that woefully ignorant of church history. The only explanation is that it is politically motivated propaganda; hang onto your tradition at all costs, even at the expense of your own credibility. This teaches us all something - you cannot misrepresent your opponent's position and have any credibility. Try doing that with an atheist, Mormon, or Muslim you are witnessing to and see how far you get. It is imperative that Christians have the highest standards of integrity, even with those with whom they disagree.
Enjoyed Discussion I really enjoyed the discussion.Having been a life-long Methodist until I was 58 (now 65), it was a struggle to embrace Reformed/Calvinistic doctrine on salvation. However, upon being convinced through my study of the scriptures I could no longer remain in the UMC. There is only one salvation and it is by the grace of our sovereign God. However, I believe we can still be in fellowship with Arminians. The way I have resolved it in my mind is that the one salvation is being viewed from two perspectives Arminianism views salvation from man's point of view and Calvinism views salvation from God's point of view. I prefer to view salvation from God's point of view.
Really enjoyed the interaction with Pastor Andy There seems to be growing bitterness in the divide between Calvinists and Arminians in the SBC, and it seems mostly one sided. That's good, the more attention this gets, the more Baptists are drawn to the truth of God's Grace!
I think you're missing Peter's end game Sir, I think you are missing the point of the passage that Peter is using as a source. In Isaiah 66 (65-66 establishes the New Heaven and New Earth envisioned innscripture) we see a scene where God is punishing the idol worshipping apostate members of Israel. He does so by drawing "all nations" to a climactic battle. When it's over, a new Heaven and new earth has been created. In it, people head out to the farthest reaches of the world to evangelize people who have never heard of God and didn't know the great battle took place. Clearly, in the New Heaven and New Earth behind the language of 2nd Peter 3 we still see death, sin, and successful evangelism.
