Great Sermon! I was genuinely challenged by this message. As tears streamed down my face, I ask God to forgive my luke warm heart. Thank you and God bless you
Well now Google gives a definition of social justice and it is coined by the Jesuit priest you guys mentioned. The bible does not teach social justice. TGC is once again trying to make the bible agree with worldly principles. Kevin DeYoung is smart and he knows the definition. Tim Keller has been mixing social justice and scripture. He was influenced by the Frankfort school and admits it. TGC has been challenged by several people publicly and now they want to back track and act like there is no definition when there is one by the Jesuit priest. TGC has way too much influence on local churches. They bring up a topic as if there is an issue or crisis and the churches start picking it up and discussing it and questioning themselves. In this podcast there was the comment that America is a rogue nation founded on rebellion. Well if so then we are all Brita and not Americans. Jesus said the poor is with us always and we can help them when we want. Done no need for discussion. All you guys have to do is go to their Twitter page to see what TGC is about as far as SJ. They are wrong and out of line with scripture. Might wanna read Saul Alinsky, Communist Manifesto, and study The Frankfort School to really understand what is going on.
Your offer to help someone is nice I don't struggle with suicide, but I really appreciate your offer at the end of the podcast. I still have on my old phone a podcast of yours from 2012, where you said the same thing for any pastor who struggles. Many times I've been thinking of emailing your church, but even though your offer to help is genuine, I have this fear of being just another Internet person, a nobody, just an unknown, coming from the online world and connecting with the real world, I fear I won't be able to relate. But I will try someday
Great Teaching! Bro. Sean, thank you for letting me sit in your class via SermonAudio. Your illustrations were understandable. I now know what earned income tax credit is about, the tax breakdown, etc., how rewarding folks for not working, like subsidizing farmers, is not biblical; it "produces" laziness.
I Could Sign My Name to This Even though this meeting was uploaded two years ago this is so worth listening to now because of "The Statement on Social Justice and the Gospel" that many are signing. Bro. Sean, thank you for pointing out that there is a social justice that's Biblical. You are right, the term "social justice" has been hijacked, the meaning changed.
Controversial topic Only thing to keep you out of heaven not being born again... John 3:3-5 Jesus spoke it clearly we need the Holy Ghost baptism, not water baptism. If someone leaves the faith the person should consider if they had true saving faith. Unbelief in Jesus Christ will keep you out of heaven... study dispensations and who is writing to who or is it showing history this is a Jewish book remember John was the last gospel written last besides revelation,, John said WHOSEVER will believeth will not perish but have eternal life.. easily said and understood. Satan always tries to get you to doubt
God bless brothers
Great Sermon! Thanks! I have believed what you are teaching in this sermon for a long time due to the Ark story. I knew these events occur at the same time. Thank you for digging deeper. The music stand analogy was great.
Great Teaching and Just Wondering... Coming across this, Bro. Sean, is timely as I've been thinking about some things lately. Is it just my opinion or does anyone else see that the base/foundation of the "white privilege" and the feminist ideologies is covetousness? And no, I'm not white or a male.
Our Persecuted Brothers and Sisters! I ran across a news article here on SA today about a former imam who lost everything but his life (maybe that too by now, the article was 2 yrs old) for becoming a Christian. Then I saw some other articles about Christians being killed, tortured, and other forms of persecutions. Their tribulation is happening now, not some future event. You are right, Bro. Sean, we Christians in the western civilization, where such tribulations haven't happened in a few centuries, and a "we'll escape all this" mentality seems to reign, aren't ready for the persecutions that our brothers and sisters in other countries and cultures are experiencing.
Great Sermon! I really appreciate this excellent teaching on the 2nd coming of Christ. He understands and without apology teaches the post tribulation rapture. And he does it in a manner that is logical and gives our Lord and Savior the glory. God bless you Pastor Harris and your ministry.
Great Sermon! I loved this conversation and the topic. I'm personally obsessed with learning more and more about the rapture/2nd coming and also the book of Revelation. I personally would love to hear yall tackle the Steven Anderson Veiw of Post Trib/Pre Wrath. I've listened to some of his sermons and he does makes some good points at times but I feel he falls in the 2 event category with the pre trib veiw, especially when he stays away from the greek word parusia. I will say he has a strong point when he separates the first 6 seals from the wrath of God, (the first 15mins of his revelation chapter 8 sermon on youtube and also his timing of the rapture sermon, Id love to hear yalls take on those sermons. Ive struggled with the order of the trumpets and veils, especially with the locusts from hell plague lasting 5 months. thanks for posting these sermons and new in focus talks to sermon audio.. I alwasy enjoy listening.
Trump: Making America Sinfully Proud Again Donald Trump's presidential slogan, which claims "Make America Great Again," is in reality, making American sinfully proud again. The fact is that no nation in the world is a great nation, even though America is known for being a free democratic nation. The only way to "make America great again" is by increasing its sinful pride. If we focus only on America, and not other nations, we lose sight of The Great Commission.
Great Sermon! Haha! Pastor Shaun: Have a great day! Right! Dont think so after listening to that depressing but eye-opening talk... 😪 sad situation on our church youth culture... all we can do is plead w God to save our children and point out like you all said: Christians cant listen to that stuff bc it grieves the Spirit that lives inside. Thanks guys for another great discussion!
Great Sermon! Gentleman writing the article discussed is writing about himself and how he wants to be called and looked upon as father rather than Shepherd. He is a candidate for Rome. He will as many Protestants apostatizing therefore wanting to be back under the yoke of Rome. Jesus told us to call no man father. Like you guys said his job is to preach the Word. He is not called to father anyone. He wants preeminence and control of people. My Dad was AWOL and I never expected my pastor to be my Daddy. What foolishness. Fathers are for their children not the flock. Dude has some serious issues. He wants control and would tyrannize the church members.
