I’m sure there has rarely been a Christmas sermon this deep, this rich, this glorifying to Christ. This displays God’s majesty and his Soverignty over history to unfold all events that culminate to the incarnation of himself into our space-time and dwelling among us. The sacrificial Lamb is in manifold wonder here. If you’re ever in need of a Christmas sermon to deeply penetrate yours, or another’s soul, here in this sermon, is the wonderful unique story of Christ to do just that. Blessed be the Lamb!
Thank you- it helped Oh I should have known better, but needed you to yell “It is not Bible!!!!” Thank you. I have so much peace after your sermon!
Great Sermon! Can I ask, how 1 Chron 3:5, where it suggests that Solomon was the fourth born son of David and Bathsheba, fits in with David's repentance? It potentially may have taking much longer than the 9 months we assume from 2 Sam 12:24. It shows us the third born was named Nathan, we guess after the prophet who showed David his sin, then after his birth follows Solomon?
A believer cannot be entirely sanctified in this life.Experience itself teaches us this. We are sinners still full of sin. Rom7:21. Thanks be to God that there will be a day when we will no longer be in need of sanctification but will be perfect.Heb12:22,23.
Its hard to say because You cannot separate the sinner from sin. If God hates sin and He does, then HE must hate the person committing the sin. It goes hand in hand.Is this not the reason why God is going to punish some people in hell? Why not just punish sin and send it to hell instead of people? There is a disconnect here.
I do not believe in divorce except in the case of desertion.1cor7:15. Christ taught that marriage is for life.matt19:4-6. Adultery is not a grounds for divorce. The bible holds marriage in very high regard. In our day it is not. May the Lord restore the biblical view of marriage back into our churches.
It is a good thing to have the ten commandments displayed. It really shows that we as a nation use to be GOD fearing. Sadly such is not the case any more, or at least we are not like we once were.
The moral law is still binding on all of mankind. It is based on the very character of God.God is holy so therefore what He commands of us, is a reflection of His holy character. God's character never changes(James 1:17)so what He requires of us morally speaking does not change, (the moral law).
I'm greatful for Sermon Audio and its attempt to provide this kind of service.Keep up the good work. Sometimes though the survey questons are ambiguous and need clarification. Thank-you Sermon Audio.
John10:27-29. This verse seems to teach that a true believer cannot be lost. If someone falls away and does not repent, it is very likely that they were never saved.
It's hard to say.whether or not our forefathers should have rebelled. It seems that perhaps they could have put up with some things that were not wrong in and of themselves. The puritans were right on many matters, but not all.
there is a place for women in the military perhaps in secretarial or nursing positions.Men caring for the wounded just to me seems to be more of a womens role not a man's.A women ought not to be in a position of fighting unless we have absolutey no other choice (like all of the men were killed.)
liberalism is an issue that plagues the church today. If liberalism means that we no longer hold to the teachings of the bible, then this is very true of our church culture. Surveys indicate that we (the church) don't hold to the beliefs taught in scripture. For example, a survey taken by professing christians indicated that over 60% of them did not believe that there is absolute truth. If one does not believe in absolute truth then how does one believe in God? This is very alarming. This is the chrsitian professing community.
1 john teaches that assurance comes when we are walking with God. If we are professing to be christian and we are living in sin, then that logically affects our assurance. Being saved and having the assurance that we are saved are two different things. you will not have peace and assurance if you are living in sin. But if you are walking with God then you will have a certain measure of assurance. Our standing with God is not changed by our lack of or possesion of assurance. again these are two separate issues.
