Abide in Christ, according True doctrine Heb 6:4 may be applied to Matthew 18:17,18 of those in the Church, who don't become like little children. Those who have grown strong in faith and know the meat of the Word, but despise the milk to grow by daily.
Don't loose hope, their still is time for the Church who fall away, but REPENT today, as no one can know the things of his life tomorrow!
The Holy Bible is above all human craftiness The unadulterated integrity of the wholeness of Sacred Scripture, is IN Jesus Christ alone. God is our only Comforter, thruogh the powerfull work of the Holy Ghost. Amen
Full armor of God in life and the pulpit. I have a dear Christian friend, who's a street preacher who make the wisdom of God known in piety of our Lord Jesus Christ, for the glory of God, and the salvation of souls.
This battle of forgiving those who do us wrong, 70 times 7 like our Master and Lord learn, has become a terribile yoke on him. He had forgotten what It mean to wear the rigtheosness of God, in Christ on his chest.
He had forgotten that the helmit of our salvation is doctrinal wisdom, and that according faith, in the grace of God, the believer ABIDE in.
He had taken of the Gospel shoes and swoped it for something of less value.
The street preacher have to realize in his own life that Jesus said, without Me none of the preaching of His Word, or any good deed can be done. May our aim be in all times to seek the Kingdom of God, for His glory. On a Rock in the Gospel, we stand. Praise His whorthy Name. Amen
The book of Life The works of C.S. Lewis should all be recollected in the section of the fictional novels, and not in the section of the topical books on the Sacred Bible, that is the inspired Word of God.
Christian believers are surprised that that Popery is the mainstaim of unbiblical Christianity, that generally follow the concept that we are basicly all good people, with the ability to disern what is good and elvil, right and wrong.
The newborn believer should ask of God to help to discern what literature is fruit of the creative mind, and what books recall the historical factual Truths of the book of Life.
May the things we fill our minds with be of extraordinary value that is compound of the True knowledge of the Sacred Bible, the good news of Jesus of Nazareth, in whom the promise of eternal life is.
"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should
be written. Amen. (Jhon 21:25)
Great Sermon! Thank you for this excelllent message…
The world will continue to look and pursue ungodliness in any form or matter and we Christians must be on high alert as so not to be misled. .
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon. Christians need to speak up. It's tragic how the Name of Christ is being heretically used for evil causes. Thank you sir! God bless you!
Great Sermon! Praise God for you Pastor O'Neal. These are the words (I)/the flock need to hear. Should be the norm. I need to repent and seek Gods forgiveness for doing so little. I pray for His wisdom and guidance. And hope to find other like minded Christians. Be encouraged Pastor to continue this much needed type of sermon. Thank you.
Praise God for This Pastor!!! I am thankful for pastors like this. Jesus said, "...when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" May God help us to be faithful to Him...no matter the cost.
Popery: Monster of Satan As Protestant Reformer John Calvin said, "Popery is nothing else than a monster formed out of the innumerable deceptions of Satan, and that what they call the Church is more confused than Babylon."
Words of Wisdom From John Calvin Here are some words of wisdom from John Calvin. "Popery is nothing else than a monster formed out of the innumerable deceptions of Satan, and that what they call the Church is more confused than Babylon."
Great Sermon! Just what I needed to hear. My long time friend has gone ecumenical. Keep us Lord near the cross where there is no compromise. I have lost an old friend but I continue to gain Christ
Thank you for your comment 3 The other concern mentioned in the sermon had to do with Dr. Mohler's association with Dr. Russell Moore (SEE http://www.biblicalchurchevangelism.org/2014/12/11/dr-russell-moores-lack-gospel-primacy/). I trust Dr. Mohler is exhorting Dr. Moore behind the scenes, yet Dr. Moore's union with the Pope and Church of Rome is alarming, and certainly worthy of public reproof on Dr. Mohler's part (Gal. 1 & 2).
I truly thank you for taking the time to write, for your heart for Dr. Mohler, and for your love of the Gospel!
For Christ, His Church, & His Gospel,
Pastor Chuck O'Neal
Thank you for your comment 2 Dr. Mohler did not apply his statement of faith, he failed to expose the heresy of Mormonism, and his statement regarding Heaven left the door wide open for Mormons to think they are going to a different heaven, just not Mohler's Heaven. I love the man, but that is err.
There is no moral issue that justifies union with those who champion a false Gospel. The Gospel trumps all. We can have no union that undermines the Gospel. There will always be compromise of the Gospel whenever we attempt to have unity with those whom the Lord forbids unity.
2John9-11
Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
2Cor6:14-17
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said..."Come out from among them and be separate."
Thank you for your comment 1 Dear Chris,
Thank you for the encouraging words and defense of Dr. Mohler. First, please understand that I love and appreciate Dr. Mohler and consider him a champion of the Gospel. I follow him closely and read, reread, and listened to his talk at BYU immediately after he delivered it. That said, I believe that Dr. Mohler is a champion that grievously erred. The unbiblical unity expressed by his visit to BYU speaks much louder than his mild distinctions. Mild distinctions are not enough when you are standing in a Mormon pulpit, in a Mormon stronghold, surrounded by a whose who of Mormon leadership, students, and press. Out of love for their souls he needed to make clear that they have a different gospel, that they have a different christ, and that unless they repent they will perish in their sin and idolatry, and abide under God's wrath in Hell. Instead, shockingly, he said "I do not believe we are going to Heaven together." The tragic reality is that unless they repent, they will abide in Hell under God's wrath as idolators. Dr. Mohler made a correct theological statement of faith (26-28 min. mark) that included many terms that Mormons notoriously redefine to the destruction of their souls. (1 of ?)
Fairness 2 I would also listen Mohler in minutes 26 - 28, where the gospel of salvation by grace through faith alone in Christ alone is proclaimed.

In Fairness to Al Mohler My Brother,
To state Dr. Mohler only made the distinction of having a different heaven than Mormons fails to give the fullness of the distinction he made. Al Mohler said this at the beginning of his message, "I come as an evangelical Christian committed to gospel of Jesus Christ and to the Trinitarian beliefs of the historic Christian faith. I come as one who does not share your theology and one who has long been involved in urgent discussions about the distinctions between the church of the Latter Day Saints and the historic Christian Church." This is clear statement in making a distinction on multiple differences in theology, including the person of Christ (the Trinity is rejected by the Mormon), and that the historic Christian faith is stated as opposed to Mormon Theology, are two differences at least said by Mohler contrasting Mormonism and the Truth of Christianity of the Bible.
Perhaps in looking for evidence to support your message you inadvertently overlooked the importance of this opening distinction he made.
I appreciate your gospel preaching on youtube and stand with you in not standing with those who clearly stand doctrinally opposed to the gospel.
Look forward to your response.
Love in Christ,
Chris
