Thank you for sharing this! I loved the explanation about the use of money in serving others and especially the point you made about retirement. Looking at our current culture can be a little scary, but it's so good to get a Biblical perspective from your program. I'm sure this isn't easy. I pray for courage and boldness to keep pushing forward!

In hell, 1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, where is his repentance for these sins? King David repented, we see no such repentance with Ravi.

Should there even be a title 'Southern' Baptist since it was formed following a rift with their northern counterparts over slavery? Admittedly, racism exists in church in the North as well. But the damage being caused even in the body of Christ is sinful, diabolical, evil in pure form and should be denounced at all costs. Also, titles such as Ukranian, Korean, Chinese, African Methodist, etc. are racially earmarked and should be abolished. Titles used to locate body of believers is most appropriate and unifies states, cities, boroughs, townships, streets, etc. Most people would be reluctant to walk into any church below the Mason Dixie Line without diligent research, if there were of color. Southern in a title immediately draws a line in the mind. No wonder people don't want the opinions of Christians in the North or South anymore. There is too much division over racial lines.

I would like to add to the list of investments. Let's invest in a little land so we can grow some food for our families and others. Let's invest in skills to grow and prepare the food. Let's stop supporting big businesses that pay slave labor and try to control everyone and start investing in small local businesses. Let's invest in our neighbors by loving them and sharing the gospel. 😀

As long as receiving a vaccine remains voluntary, there should be no problem. Being first in line for experimental medication is ok if you have a great chance of dying anyway. Cancer meds come to mind. Covid 19 has a very low death rate, calling for a different approach. Following the science doesn’t mean following the politics.

Interesting debate. However have we not been here before? All vaccines in history had to be tried and tested by time and application to the human body. Did they work? Has man found cures for some of the most deadly diseases? Of course! Doubt is a form of human research, without it we may make mistakes. Quote: "But sometimes there is an adverse reaction if it is claimed that verification never proves the truth of a scientific law. Is it worse to “attack” science, or to “murder” logic?" I have a friend who owns a successful one to two crew landscape company.He told me that a $15 minimum wage would kill his business. He's been at it for 14 years.All his employees love him. (Including me. I worked for him one summer when I was in high school.) He's generous and takes good care of you, he just can't realistically pay you that much.The flip side is that he can't hang on to employees long term because he doesn't pay as much. Not that he's a bad boss, he just can't pay that much. And the employees have to support families.Here's the problem with the other side of the issue. They have to have higher pay because of artificially high prices and an artificially high standard of living. This is because of government involvement. So more government involvement won't help.

C S Lewis was a spiritualist. He did not borrowed his knowledge of mythology from his humanistic training. Rather his personal knowledge of the occult comes reflected in his narratives. Any advocating otherwise is trying hard to assimilate culture rather than analysing it correctly. It is a travesty to put Lewis on the same platform as Bunyan or Defoe whose narratives were clean from such content with distinctive teaching, and not entrailed in esoteric or mysterious knowledge. The gospel when portrayed has to be distinctively presented. In justifying Lewis Christians are desperately redeeming culture in vain.
