so important This is the secret of the Christian life. May God help us to live in the reality of our union with Christ. Thank you for reminding us of this essential truth
Great Sermon! This sermon hardly needs another comment for people to find it but it was such an excellent sermon i had to. It was straight to the point and a message any engaged person needs to hear, as well as already married, single and especially on their way to divorce. How influenced the church has been by worldly ideas of love and marriage.
Interesting Sermon! It was a motivating sermon with some good thoughts. I suggest though that Dr Morris mainly overlaid his theology on top of Isaiah 6 without really expounding this portion of the Word of God.
Great Sermon! I was curious what kind of an introduction to this book could be accomplished in under 33 minutes. I was pleased with this as an overview. It will doubtless move some take a look at the book. Archibald Alexander wrote in 1842 that the book may be too abstract for some readers and the points could be reduced to half the number on his own plan. So I would say, read the introductions to all three parts. Especially the first part. But as to the main body of the work, it may be simpler to read Gardiner Spring's Distinguishing Traits of Christian Character - 1829 - that covers the same idea in easier English. Remember the warning of Alexander Allen, an Edwards biographer on this work. A person who can read this and still believe in his own conversion may well have the highest assurance of his faith's reality." 1847 But it challenged such great saints as Edward Payson, so it is worth it.
Excellent Sermon! This messages makes us look seriously about how pride is part of our daily life. We see that God should be number one when we do anything and we should not presume we have control of our life. God is sovereign and is decrees or permits all that happens.
Great Sermon! A wonderful sermon to remind us of how we can find an answer to all our problems through God's word. Thank you for explaining it all so clearly and turning us
to our Father in heaven. So often we just
look to our own feeble efforts.
A Blessing Sermon! Once we accept that God controls everything in the world and in your life, we can relax that all things are working for your good if you love God and are called by Him. Whatever happens in the world, good and bad, has been decreed by God. Know that and you will not be surprised by anything in your life.
