Great Sermon! We have so enjoyed your messages on Walking in the Spirit, and now on Running the Race. We have no problem with the fact of eternal security, but am sorry to say that the closing statements in this particular sermon were so confusing (We stand on eternal security, of course). We hold to the pure necessity to keep running the race. This is why "run that ye may obtain" has to mean our works not being burned up, "saved, yet as by fire". We are sorry that you lean toward it meaning Heaven itself. We truly know that you do not believe in Lordship salvation, at least we hope that you do not. We LOVE your sermons and praise the Lord that God brought you to BJU!
Great Sermon! I know the truth ,Now I didn't before, and "The World" didn't want to hear this in 1956, and the truth is they're not going to hear it today, I don't know why the Lord would save me, but I know He has, and one way I know it is when I hear Bob Jones speak these messages, I feel as if me and Bob are brothers, and we are, the problem in this country started back before I was born and men like Bob saw it coming, and they PREACHED against it, and Satan has had his way and our country is lost, gone, never again will man see a true freedom like we few Americans enjoyed for a short season, and why? Because man is evil and Jesus Christ is the only cure. Thank you God for men such as these and their insight to record their message, download and record all you can because the day is coming when it will be illegal to even speak these words.
Worth Being A Favorite Sermon to Listen to Again In a time when men practising a form of godliness are becoming increasingly unloving, What a Wonderful Sermon God has priviledged me to unexpectedly find I had never heard of until Gabby from Florida commented on it (Gabby, thank you so much!) It is wonderful medicine and encouragement to me in my faith and I trust as I learn and grow in what Greg Mazak has shared it will be a blessing to me, my family, my church family and even strangers I might meet too. I am thanking God for this sermon and making this 26 minute long talk one of my favorites that I will listen to again and again, and will likely be singing Eph 4:32 to the tune of 10 Little Indians as well.
Well said! I love the clarity of this speaker's preaching. This sermon is an encouragement to new believers and mature believers alike. It is well worth a second listen!
