Full of wisdom and truth I have been in my wilderness for what seems like an eternity and what a stubborn daughter I have been. Thank you, Dr. Berg for your loving presentation. I have hope for the first time in several years. Thank you.
Great Sermon! Preaching should not come from what is on the pastor's heart. God's word is to be preached.
Thus saith the Lord is what we need to hear.
Great Sermon! Nor am I ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
I will not be silenced!
The Tithe I stopped listening when I got to the tithe teaching. The truth set me free a long time ago. We are not to give under compulsion. Btw, there were at least 3 tithes.
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon!! Unfortunately, the church, by and large, is no longer contending for the faith. There is also very little discernment. Keep preaching the word, brother!! May God bless you!!
I disagree Your statement "Inordinate desires come out of our sin nature, but their presence does not automatically mean we have committed sin†[23:30]is scripturally incorrect. The Word of God clearly states: "The thought of foolishness is sin..." Surely "inordinate desires" are sinful desires? Are you really saying that desires are neutral? The Bible teaches that sin does NOT consist merely in acted-out desires, but in the desires themselves. Christ spoke of sin as the fruit of a corrupt tree. Jeremiah said that "the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked". In the Fall of man, Eve did not only sin in taking the forbidden fruit, but in desiring that which God had forbidden. She saw that it was "a tree TO BE DESIRED to make one wise..." How can you condemn the behavior but not the desire? Disappointing...
Great Sermon! A great message brother, it is getting into the presence of God unto the very throne of grace itself. The pure delight of a single hour that before thy throne I spend when I kneel in prayer and with thee my God I commune as friend with friend. Those Israelites outside the tabernacle looking in wondered at the priest within offering up prayers to God for them, just as I wonder that Christ would offer up prayers for me. Luke 22 vs 61,62
