“ Great Sermon! ” Good message, especially for myself, for those who are tired of the papacy, false preachers/teachers, Billy Graham, etc.
We have to be put in remembrance of the heresies of such men.
Lord give me grace to endure the things I hear; things that oppose your will and your word. Teach me how to war.
“ Great Sermon! ” This narrator has my highest respect for narrating the 2 volumes, 1200 pages of Stephen Charnock's Existence and Attributes. I believe he is the same person who narrated the entire volume 5 of the Puritan Morning Exercises for you. All of that just has to be good for his own soul. God bless that man... keep up the good work brother.
“ Helpful! ” This was a very helpful sermon to me as I have been concerned about some things I've heard Billy Graham say and do. The preacher gives a straightforward Bible examination regarding things that Billy Graham should not have done and taught, such as ecumenical associations and not preaching about the blood of Jesus Christ. I really respect this pastor Ashbrook and love discovering preachers of his quality on sermonaudio. I wish there could be more of his sermons posted on here. And may we all pray for Billy Graham.
“ Great Sermon! ” have enjoyed the sermon but I would have enjoyed it more if the reader had spoken a little more slowly - it was just a little difficult to keep up.
“ MORE INFORMATION ” Pastor Jason Cooley's message on Billy Graham and this message has certainly given me the answer to the question I had asked the Lord about three weeks ago. A peek behind the scenes is what these two messages have been.
“ Great Sermon! ” Some say Judas is in Heaven; some opined strongly that he's in Hell today! Who's correct?? I believe he's in Hell today for 2 major reasons: #1. Jesus called Judas Iscariot the son of perdition and wished that he was not born into the world, and #2. A 'born again' or a repentant sinner would never take his own life because his life now belongs to the Holy Spirit of YAHWEH. The Holy Spirit of YAHWEH residing within the body of the repentant sinner will not allow the temple of the Holy Spirit be destroyed. There’s no power on earth that can destroy this temple of the Holy Spirit. Hence, based on just these 2 considerations, I do NOT believe that Judas Iscariot repented for his sin; he only felt remorseful in betraying Yeshua. The Holy Spirit shall prevent those who belong to YESHUA / YAHWEH from taking their own lives!! And that's the Gospel Truth concerning the issue of suicides amongst so-called "Christians". Genuinely 'born again' Christians would never commit suicide. The talk that many Christians are weak hence overcome by depressions to commit suicide is a myth that is DEADLY and DIABOLICAL and it has its origin from the Pit of Hell! To all pastors, do NOT lie! Tell the truth about the damnable consequence of suicide!
“ Great Sermon! ” BTW, did not you see in the pope's insignia that there are 2 keys?? Supposing 1 key is for him to open up "heaven", for what would the 2nd key be?? To open up "hell"??
Wah!! then the pope must be "god" in the Flesh (as what the Vatican stooges claimed the pope(s) to be for hundreds of years who is able to determine who goes to heaven and who goes to hell!!
Christ gave Peter the key to the kingdom of Heaven; to mean the preaching of the Good News of Salvation for the ELECT and NOT for a sinner like the pope to OPEN and CLOSE the gate of Heaven!!
He ought to be opening the "gate" on a daily basis since Christians die every day, right?? But, why is the pope only opening the gate on special Roman Catholic's 'holy days' only???

“ Great Sermon! ” What an excellent message. I am currently going through some trials and this message not only convicted me, but I'm sure will stay in my thoughts and help me to overcome what is currently causing me worry and anxiety.
“ Great Sermon! ” Dr. Bennett, I've been listening to quite a bit of your church history, and I have found it to be very wonderful and I thank you for it. My question for you is is there any correlation between the nuns and the sisters that Rome brought out and the priestesses and the harlots that we see in the new and Old Testament. I'm wondering this because of the rumored history of the Popes who set up sex brothals inside the nuneries. I find it odd that these Temple Prostitutes that Paul and others warned of in Scripture just disappeared, and the Popes coincidentally decided that Nuns were Biblical. Perhaps you could help me here. If you could point me to any of the histories or books that will help, I would greatly appreciate it.
