Great Sermon! Very fair and accurate appraisal of this movement, I was looking for books when I found Brians web site. Listened to his "Upper Room" message, which I loved. I then checked to see if he was on SermonAudio.com. Amen!
Significant series Easy to spot on the ills of totalitarian socialist regimes, but it is rather harder to live under the pain everyday 'mild' socialistic policies inflict is our present Western societies
Great Sermon! I think the speaker is really referring, in this sermon, to LEE Irons, the Christian author and not, as he says, to Jeremy Irons the famous actor.
Very Thorough Very biblical and thorough argument against celebrating Christmas. It’s sad how blind the church is to this great deception. May God open the eyes of the church to worship Him as He commands.
Great Sermon! If postmillenialism is true, why does Jesus ask if he will find faith on the earth when he returns? Premillennialism is still my belief.
Great Sermon! Excellent sermon. Thanks Reverend Schwertley. Praise the Lord for the spiritual wisdom and faith you’ve received.
It seems that there are many spiritual descendants of Cain in the visible church today. Bringing offerings of their own invention.
Great Sermon! Finally, someone deals with the Free Offer errors of the Marrow, and of John Murray. They were fine Christians, but they were sincerely in error, creating a semi-Arminianism, as it were. Thank you.
Great Sermon! Titled correctly, for it's confusing to me. If God loves the Reprobate, did he love Esau? If God loved Pharaoh, why did he raise him up "for this very purpose" to show his power? Why are vessels MADE for honor, and dishonor? I don't deny indiscriminate preaching, for the sheep are mixed in the crowd. If God desired the salvation of the Reprobate, in the end was he unsatisfied? Why did Jesus tell his apostles that info were hidden from others, or why does he soften some hearts and harden others? Why would he desire to resurrect all dead men, but only give life to some? There are not 2 wills in God. God is simple. Is there such a thing as semi-Arminianism? Is.55 - do all thirst after righteousness apart from God?
Kiss the Son, Lest Ye Perish! Contrary to what the Christ-hating Mohammedans think (and teach), Jesus Christ is God. As a matter of fact, based on the OVERWHELMING evidence of Holy Spirit-inspired Scripture (66 Books), if Jesus Christ isn't JEHOVAH ... THEN THERE IS NO GOD!
Great Sermon! Thank you so much for preaching this sermon series!! I have only listened to two of them so far and have been so blessed by them!!! It is such an encouragement to my heart and is going to help me to stand up for what I have always believed to be true, but not known fully how to answer people about. You have been so thorough and biblical in your explanation. Wonderful!!!
Great Sermon! Very balanced and informative sermon. The topic of pants on women has unnecessarily divided Christians with some judging others as worldly for wearing them. Well intentioned believers read more into Deuteronomy 22:5 than it actually contains, inadvertently imposing their understanding on the verse.
Informative The numerous quotations amply demonstrate how the church calendar originated from the Roman church in the eyes of the Reformers, Covenanters, non Conformists, Presbyterians, Anabaptists and Waldensians.
Historical Christianity vs. Modern Christianity Note that Christmas has always been the mark of Antichrist, ie.false Christianity. Always. Which has always led to tyranny and persecution. The same will hold true in the U.S. since President Ulysses Grant declared Dec. 25th Christmas a national holy day (contrary to the 1st Amend.), after the South was brought back into captivity and the states made subject to the federal government. False Christianity always persecutes Christian liberty to make it conform. The churches are doing the same with flags on their pulpits demonstrating their allegiance while celebrating a man made ritual holiday.
Great Sermon! Just a few questions: What has been the practice of the Reformers and Puritans concerning individual public confession of sin before the congregation, whether as part of his restoration or in his excommunication. Should we look to the public confession of Aichan, or of Jonathan after eating the honey, or David's confession in Psalm 51 as examples of this? And how is James 5:16 put into practice?
Must Have! This is fantastic message, Brian managed to present the entire Gospel and Basic Theological terms within an hour. Also, he language is so clear and easy to understand. Worth memorizing for preaching. Thank you for posting. Video version is available from Brian's youtube channel.
Great Sermon! That is, using only nature and conscience, you will necessarily add to and take away from God’s Word in the realm of ethics. Intentionally to undertake to do so is a terrible sin.
