a 5pound scottish note @Charlmers Hall Dear David.
I was crying in my personal prayer @Charlmers Hall, FCC, Ediburgh in1995. You asked me, "r u ok?" I found a 5pound note after finishing prayer. It was unforgettable memory of warm friendship. I am thinking of you time to time David.
Great Sermon! Praise God for hard straight preaching and a man with the boldness and power of God in him as hes preaches what a wonderful man of God
Great Sermon! Lots of pertinent scriptures with great examples of the dangers of not listening to God's words, to his still small voice when using our conscience and then the blessings of restoration of relationships when one obeys.
Wonderful Testimony! One of the most beautiful testimonies I have ever heard. Beautiful not because of the way it is told, not because of the depths the sinner was saved from but beautiful because of the compelling love of the saviour evidenced in the salvation of this man.
The Country's Been in Moral Decline Before We can call out to the Lord our God to change the hearts of this nation's citizens. The Holy Spirit can most definitely move across this land and bring change. I pray that it is the Lord's will to produce another great awakening.
To Prayer, Christians! This staff-picked part and the other parts of a 4 part teaching on great awakenings have very good information. God the Holy Spirit caused changes in the land when the people of God began to earnestly pray.
Great Sermon! I was reading a book recently about Joy. The writer quoted Tozer "we can have as much of God as we want" This is the sermon he quoted from....excellent. Thank you!
Great Sermon! Great encouragement.
I thank God for SermonAudio and the available spiritual resources.
It is absolutely beneficial to engage with others as we post. There is so much we can say to one another here that cannot be said even in our churches. I have often asked co members, in the church I attend, what happens after Sunday? There is no one to talk with about the many issues challenging our walk. Churchgoers are eager to leave and not fellowship over what the message was about.
When I was a child, my mother and her peer met every Friday night for prayer. It was called a missionary meeting, but they read the Bible and prayed afterward. We don't have that anymore and it leaves us lonely and alone at times.
The more we become individualist and isolate others, the greater the necessity of resources such as SermonAudio and the Chat Board where we meet others.
A thought! Women should be able to find their niche here. This can be their mini pulpit to minister to others.
God has given us a great gift.
