1 Chronicles 16 (King James Version)
8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
sitting at his feet, hearing his word, and resting in him Christ Jesus humbly and with meekness, brother James Flanagan
Great Sermon! Very good sermon! Thank you Pastor! You not only preach well, but you preach standing at the Door of the Tabernacle! I have heard other good preachers, but their voices came from 'the open fields' and I could not receive their good words.
God bless you, your family and church

REAL ACTIONABLE Answers To HARD Questions Thank you, again, John Weaver, for posting your work on SermonAudio! I rejoice in the Lord thanking Him for all the answers this #2 sermon has offered to really difficult questions (for me) I've put before the Lord about this doctrine.
Solid Foundation Found In This Sermon Just a few days ago I first learned there was a Doctrine of Election reading a statement of faith online. It was like I had been run over by a fast moving big rig. I don't know how long I sat completely still in stunned silence. Thank you Lord Jesus for this SermonAudio archive and for the Spirit filled exposition of this doctrine subject by John Weaver.
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! Pastor Weaver, may God bless and protect you, your family, church and all of his children. Humbly with meekness, sitting at his feet throuh his Grace and resting in him - our Lord Jesus Christ - brother James
Great Sermon! I wasn't taught that in school. Wow! What a history lesson. A must listen to sermon. I understand his reasoning for the title but different title would get more listeners. I almost passed it up.
Great Sermon! Another good and unpopular sermon preached by very few. I appreciate the discussion of Monism as well as the emphasis on the political religion, that the State or government is essentially religious in nature.
There's a great deception that things called civil or secular fall outside the realm of religion which is impossible. What we have is one great religion (the Heathen/Pagan/Secular/Moloch etc. Religion) sanctioning and dominating all the other so-called religions.
Entrance into this religion is at birth when parents voluntarily sacrifice their children with the State birth certificate followed by the "social security" account/tracking number, thus no longer being living souls created by Almighty God, but "persons" created by the State. One's life of bondage to the Moloch State begins here. God's people should simply refuse this registration with Antichrist. The breath of life "certifies" the birth!
Keep up the truth speaking.
Great Sermon! "Judas in his wickedness kissed Christ's beard and sold his master for thirty pieces of silver. Our LORD bore the judgement of GOD for his people.God made him sin who knew no sin so that we might become the righteousness of GOD."
"I gave my back to the smiters and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair..I hid not my face from shame and spitting..Isaiah 50:6"
Our GOD is so good!
True Exegesis Thank you for your wonderful message. For anyone who still doubts this interpretation of scripture grab a topical Bible and revisit those familiar passages laying aside all preconceptions.
God Bless.
Great Sermon! Along with the past sermons regarding the idolatry of Statism, this one here has been another blessing in my life.
Whenever someone cries out "Romans 13" for even the slightest challenge to the "Sovereign State," they are essentially crying out, "We have no king but Caesar" as well.
Let me add though that I don't believe Government or the State can properly be referred to as Caesar. First, are these two vague terms synonymous? How is each defined? Or can they even be defined? See Albert Nock for more on this.
Second, just what is "the Law?" Is it possible to know? Is it black and white? Does the Lord command that believers are to obey man's grievous commandments? See Fred Rodell for more on this hocus pocus (as he calls it) "Law" stuff.
Thirdly, what exactly is a "U.S. Citizen?" Does being one require allegiance and obedience to MAN first and foremost? See James Montgomery and "the Informer" at atg press dot com for lot's of non-ear-tickling info.
Christ. The Cross. The Cost. The Blood. You won't see him on any HDTV dressed in New York's best, or sitting in a golden chair on TBN some poor widow paid for, and you won't see him standing smiling under a spinning glitter ball in a dazzling indoor sports coliseum in Houston. But you will see him, if you're there, in the paradise of his Father and God, running down every golden street barefooted there is, talking to Moses and Paul, Isaiah and Jude, and all the others, just like you. You can call him John or JW or something akin, but listen with your heart, for this is one of Christ's most loved, and best friends. What does he preach down in Georgia? Easy as pie, and what you won't hear from very many anymore anywhere. God's beloved Christ and precious Son and Him crucified in all His fullness. The blessed blood poured out for the many, that washes every soul whiter than snow. That rugged cross where He bore it all, for every sinner broken and contrite of heart. You can learn a lot from a red-dirt Georgia farm boy, even a very older one like John, but don't expect a dandy man with a store-bought diamond ring. Come just as you are, claydirt and all. After an hour and 2 amen's, walk away in glorious garments of glistening white. Just like the ones of thy Lord and King. Thy friend and cherished Christ.
Great Sermon! Thank you sir for sharing this sermon and also for standing up and sharing truth.
It is Pastors like you that will help keep God's people free, we do have to stand-up and defend our belief in Christ Jesus and defend ourselves.
More messages like this need to come from pastors, all to often we find "wishy-washy" preaching, Praise God that you are not one of them!
When Jesus comes back, He will be a Warrior King and He will not be all "warm and fuzzy"
Thank you
in Christ

Great Sermon! Many thanks Pastor Weaver!! Your message with regards to the Lord Jesus Christ being the Christian's rest is an awesome truth that we should meditate on daily!! One thing I must humbly disagree with, is your claim that the Hebrew 7th Day, is not the same as our "Saturday" under today's Gregorian calendar. A quick search of any Jewish website that teaches on the history & backround of the Hebrew Calendar, will refute this claim. God never commanded the children of Israel to keep the weekly Sabbath Days on specific dates (like He did with the Lord's Feast Days -- eg. the Passover is on the 14th Day Abib under the Hebrew Calender, which this year falls on March 30th AD2010 under the Gregorian Calendar), so regardless of whether there was 29 or 30 days in a month, 12 months or 13 months in a year, the days continued sequentially under the Hebrew calendar. The Jews do not have names for the days of the week (except Shabbat being the 7th Day of the week) but their days match the days which we have under our calendar today (ie. Sunday=1st Day, Monday=2nd Day...etc). Note: If God blessed and sanctified the Sabbath Day (Genesis 2:2-3), wouldn't it make plain & simple sense that He would perserve this day for His people for all ages -- a sign between Him and His chosen people in Christ?
Great Sermon! I LOVED this sermon. I am in the process of listening to the entire series. Sadly this kind of preaching is rare these days. As far as I know there are no preachers in my area that teach like this. I wish there was.
