Wonderful preaching! Isaiah 9:6(KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Resting in Him, through his mercy, grace and Glory,
brother James
Sober reckoning There is a time to warn, teach and preach, a time to plead, cry and pray, but there is also a time to act.
No amount of prayer, no amount of weeping can bring about what God only has to perform, and this is of necessity judgment.
Factual summons Relevant word about a displeased, exasperated, and exhausted prophet who vexed with the wickedness of his day, perceived that the only thing left ahead was judgment.
"The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit". Jer. 2:8
“They bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earthâ€
“LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine angerâ€. Jer. 18:23
Great Sermon! I wish more people could hear this message, but asking your typical American to listen to something other than the idiot box is asking a bit too much. It also amazes me how a certain population continues to get thrown under the bus from their coward politicians, yet they continue to vote for them.
very valuable insights into scripture Tried to send a letter to John Weaver using the address in the book Civil Govt and the Christian, but it came back undeliverable. Anyone have a valid address for Pastor Weaver? Thanks
Great Sermon! Pastor Weaver's sermon hits at the heart of the current state of the professing church. Such a timely message to awaken and convict the hearts of God's people!
May those who have ears to hear; hear!
Alarming Sermon! Thank you.
This is such an alarming message. Will Christians take heed? I implore all who hear this message to seek God’s favor in prayers. We desperately need to be cleansed. We desperately need our holy God to descend upon our hearts and terrify us of the coming increase of judgment.
Studying the Word of God will change us into the image of the One who went about glorifying God in doing good; yet without sin.
Are we so devoid even of “natural affection,†that we will continue to compromise truth? Re the Constitution, each citizen strives to do what is right in HIS OWN eyes.
Powerful Sermon! Of a truth our God is waiting for His own people to gain knowledge of Him so that great exploits will be done before the nations.
Oh that we would have a heart after God and desire His will.
WOW If a sermon is meant to stir up emotion, this nailed it. I know our government lies about pretty much everything but this really took me by surprise. Thank you for the information.
Great Sermon! Separation of the Sheep and Goats here in Luke 17 and Matt 25, does not discredit dispensationalism. I am not a traditional dispensationalist, but I do believe in a limited one. The church has not replaced Israel. And, also I believe you can not find the rapture in Matt 24, 25,Mark 13 or Luke 17 or 21. Luke 17:37 is very plain. The rapture occurs long before these events take place.
Great Sermon! This is a wonderful Sermon(series)! Thank-you Pastor John for preaching God´s Word. I listen to your Sermons repeatedly and hear something new all the time. Praise the Lord Christ Jesus and through Him I thank God the Father for every good thing and thank God the Holy Ghost for his comfort. I pray for your health and protection, according to His Will. Amen.
OUTSTANDING! (as usual) Only a fearless preacher of God's Word would have the courage to speak on the most politically-incorrect man in American history. Yes, would that we had men in leadership today of the character of Davia, Lee, Jackson, Forrest, Claiborne.
