“ Sagacious Sermon ” Being the daughter of a pastor, I recognised so acutely those categories he mentioned. His descriptions were most insightful, and not only that, but his warnings against them, effective.

“ Great Sermon! ” I woke up this morning listening to a great sermon by CH Spurgeon. As I became aware what I was listening to I was overwhelmed by it and felt that this should be shared with everyone. I have often felt that God has given me a burden to pray and felt that by praying often or at specific times I feel God's presence. However, it happened early this morning and I sense the need for as many people as possible should hear this also. So I just want to encourage all who get this set apart some time in the next few days to find about 45 minutes to listen to this also: Maybe at the end of the day or try to get up an hour early in the morning or anytime during the day
“ Great Sermon! ” I must echo and affirm the previous comment. I believe God providentially led me to this sermon. This sermon can help a great many Christians in their walk for Christ.
“ A must hear for all who struggle with prayer. ” This was my first Spurgeon sermon and one I'll absolutely listen to many more times up ahead I'm sure. He has an incredible ability to hit home hard with the Truth regardless of whether it offended his audience, and that's something hugely lacking in many of today's preachers who preach a social happy Gospel of love, prosperity and a rare mention of sin! If you (like me) struggle in the area of prayer, then make sure you keep this one bookmarked, as it will absolutely inspire you next time you kneel before our Master.
