Modern "preachers" have reduced sin to what they call mistakes or weaknesses, while the Bible teaches us that our fundamental problem is that our hearts are set against God (Mark7:20-23, Eph.2:2-3). We must understand that we are sinners by nature and that we, as unregenerate men, are in rebellion against God, no matter how good our lives may appear to men. This leading us to understand that we must turn from our idea of who God is, lest our repentance be only superficial. As a result of our sinful condition we demand that God conform to our standards, thereby displaying our hatred of the One True Living God and this hatred is further evidenced by our inate desire to dethrone God and replace Him with a god that adheres to what we want. This hatred of God will often disguise itself in a sympathy (love) for this other god and thus many are deceived into thinking that they love God when in reality they hate Him! This hatred of God comes from the one to whom they obey, which is satan and he and his ministers disguise themselves as an angels of light and in this form they preach another gospel that addresses sin but only slightly or in terms that are acceptable to men. Therefore they preach a cross that lacks the felt experience of the gravity of sin, a resurrection that lacks a participation of the resurrected life of Christ and an ascendtion that denies the Lordship Of Jesus Christ. In the end thousands upon millions are being led to hell while they are fully confident that they are going to heaven! This is the greatest tragedy of modern times and it is the reason for every other plight.

Who does God love and why? This is a question that we must answer lest we be deceived into thinking that God loves everybody. It seems right to us that God should love everybody the same and that we should all have the same chance to be saved....[ abbreviated | read entire ]
Luke 18:1- And He (The Lord Jesus) spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not faint. Our Lord goes on to tell the parable of the "unjust judge" or I like to call it the parable of the "desperate widow". Prayer is...[ abbreviated | read entire ]
