How glorious is our Lord Jesus? Mark 4:41- And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him? Oh! That we would stand exceedingly amazed at the wonder and Glory of our precious Savior. This is no ordinary man, for even the wind and the sea obey Him! He is not held by the laws of nature because He is the one who placed the laws of nature in order. He is the Sovereign Lord of heaven and earth and He does what He wills. He is the Almighty God and there is none that stay His hand and there is none that resist His calling. The Lord Jesus Christ is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega. So let's preach the gospel on those terms. We preach the gospel with boldness because we know that the Lord Jesus is calling those who are His unto Himself and that there is no other way that they can or will come. He is the one and only all powerful God and He is the only one able to call out to the dead and they obey. I think that we often see little fruit in our gospel witness because we are not standing in utter amazement of the Glory and power of our Lord Jesus Christ to call dead sinners to life, therefore we have to try every other method to to produce fruit to justify what we do. My brothers let go forth preaching the gospel knowing the power of our Christ to resurrect dead sinners and may we command them to believe knowing that our Lord will bring His sheep to life and then they will repent and believe the Gospel.
