A brief note. We have had so much trouble with our bobpatton@sr.net line that we have stopped using it. Please use our bpatton@baptistworldmission.org address. We are using a gmail address at the moment, and may continue it, but we won’t know until we are settled in Powell, Tennessee. We will let you know when the dust settles. But the bpatton@baptistworldmission.org will reach us regardless. They forward all mail to the correct address.
We are most grateful to our dear friends Fred and Joan Hubele, who have a downstairs fixed up where missionaries can stay. We are very comfortable and made to feel right at home. We are visiting four of our supporting churches and preaching in two of them plus seeing family in the area.We have news that we will be in a house about 4 miles from the campus. We are most grateful. I am definitely teaching Mission Forum and World Religions, and they would like me to teach Missionary Medicine if a schedule conflict can be resolved. I have been working on the course work while in transition, and have prepared over 100 short DVDs over the classwork thus far. I will then start putting a number of quizzes into their online learning system.
At the moment, we are packing up again, and looking forward to finally settling into a location again. We are looking forward to our new challenge at The Crown College of the Bible (official title of Crown College). We cherish your prayers during this time of transition.
I am working on a new method of e-mail which may help in the future, and looking to enhance our website. I am hoping eventually to have the site a place where people can go to get help with various aspects of missions. Please pray that the Lord will use it, as well as the books which have now been published. Maybe you can visit www.teachingmissions.com to get updated, and also as a reminder to pray.
Prayer requests:
Health and strength for the work
Our own spiritual growth
Packing up and travel
Adjustments to our new location, and that we would be a blessing
Teaching schedule
Enhancing our website so that it is more usable
Textbooks to be used, and to bless those who use them
