“ Great Sermon! ” I've been truly blessed in my soul every time I've listened to this sermon. Truly the entrance to your word is light out of our daily dark soul into your Sons extreme love for us the sinner.

He provided nothing else to look at but Christ; gave us the only hope a sinner can have-that is, God has purposed Salvation, and if I believe in the Son of God then, it must be His work not mine. The brethren @ SGBC Princeton could not have had two better angels to preach Christ to the His sheep. Both men could have said a number of true statements about religion, false gospels and works but they, praise God, preached Christ. After all, they are preaching to sheep not goats! I will default to brother Tate on this matter: "preaching against something (something that is true about something wrong or a lie) is not preaching the Gospel; is not preaching Christ", and " we ought never get entangled or ensnared into defending the Gospel. The Gospel needs no defending from a man. The Gospel is to be declared. The Lord of Hosts has everything under His control".
“ Great Sermon! ” A really great message by brother Marvin, who is so careful when handling the word of God, and preaching the Gospel for our good and the glory of God. The saved thief had both his hands & feet nailed to the wooden cross, which pictures inability. He could not raise his hand nor walk an aisle. He was a political prison and criminal guilty of many acts against the state, as well as being a natural son of Adam; hostile to God. Our Lord did everything needful for the one thief , while having no regard for the other; the one thing needful was Christ was revealed to the thief in (v40) that He was God whereby he had a godly fear (Matt 16:17). The other thief (v39) asked ""if" thou be the Christ; there was no certainty because God had not revealed His Son to the other their; his name was not written in the Lambs Book of Life. That is the difference and the difference is made by God, who quickened the sinner as he hung on the cross. Our Lord made that promise to a man who was not moral, law-abiding; perhaps a thief and a murderer; he had no time to reform his life or make restitution. Repentance was worked, by God, in the man by a new heart. This repentance is a mysterious work wrought within the new man. The old man cannot repent!
“ Great Sermon! ” Ephesians 1:1-14 .... The purpose of God is the genesis, cause and preservation of our salvation in Jesus Christ. God did not purpose this salvation and then wait for me to come forth from my mothers womb so that, apart from the Spirit's quickening, I would believe a few things about free sovereign grace, reject the lie and false gospel and leap for the Gospel and look to Christ. That is the work of God and faith His gift to His chosen. No son of Adam is born with faith; he's dead and blind! In this state, none would believe on the Son of God. God must purposes and will, predestinates and provides grace as the means to make me; compel me sweetly and irresistibly to trust in/on the Son of God, who is Salvation.
“ Great Sermon! ” I do not want to take the high seat but want to take the humble seat but it takes God to humble me daily and to give me grace to do this. In the natural I hate it but God keeps me right here. What a good God. He does all things right for his sheep
“ Great Sermon! ” Recently I ran from fear of men judging me and God brought me low to see I need to take the seat of a lowly sinner to again get grace. It's grace that humbles me and grace that raises me up in his presence. I do not deserve this awesome God but I humbly by himself believe in His way truth n life. Thank you Clay for this much needed sermon of our salvation only found in Christ
“ Great awesome sermon ” God sends the fire afflictions but is right there to be with us in the storms. They are to make us depend on him even even even more. Is this not want we want in this wicked world that trusts in its own strength
“ Great Sermon! ” The just shall live by faith; faith is a gift (Eph 2:8), so is its OBJECT (John 3:16) and the believer living in Christ who is our life (Col 3:4) (Acts 17:28) so that whatever acts of faith that we do, for it is God who worth in you both to will & to do of His good pleasure. This is how we should see brethren and this is how they should see us. God accepts and see all His children in Christ; Christ in all and in all (Col 3:11) hence, there is no distinction amongst the sons of God (Rom2:11). Good preaching, such as this, is at the heart of this matter whereby the grace of God teaches us how to live in the house of God and this present world. (Phil 3:20 and 1 Peter 2:11.
