Great Sermon! Fear not only believe. 31 times for everyday God admonishes is to fear not. But in our daily fears, we just cannot muster up Faith. This is meant to be so that God gets to save/deliver us again out of our most dreaded fears. He thus gets all the glory. Anen You cannot add 1 cubit to your trouble, you we cannot lift our selves out of anything. This way when we're Truly Weak he is strong.
Hab 2:2 - Isa 8:20 A simple, clear and distinct message by brother Clay reminds me that preaching the same thing (Salvation is a Person) is indeed not grievous, but safe, as he declares the determinate counsel, will and act of God in having mercy upon this sinner. “Believing God is a miracle of God's grace. It comes as a surprise to the sinner. For the first time he hears good news in the preaching of the Gospel. Christ has been formed within him. What a happy day!-C.Curtis
Great Sermon! 3rd time is a charm. Beautiful picture of our Jesus as the showbread willing to give sinners Himself. Not about legalism but freedom.in Him. God did not come to save the righteous but needy sinners everyday of their life. Sinners that sin not by going back to the law which is transgression, the sin leading to death. Cause it's not trusting in the finished work of Christ.
Great Sermon! If and since the afflictions trials brings us to cast all our anxieties and pray to our Lord God, and trust him, then it's a good thing that his sovereign hand brought them to me
Great Sermon! John 7:46 we read these words: “Never man spake like this man”, the context was the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, here in this message preached by brother Clay, these can be said of the brother however, only in the context that our Lord is speaking to His sheep, and truth be told, the message gives all glory to Christ the King. The words of the hymn: “It is well with my soul” speaks peace throughout the current f the message. God be praised, salvation is “all” His work.
Great Sermon! The deep wells of God's loving judgements towards us whom he loves. They are hard to deal with, but in the contrary he could of left us to our selves and let us perish. So I'm moved to say it is well with my soul. Amen
Great Sermon! How well my soul knows, Surely goodness and mercy is running us/me down in the person and work of my Lord Jesus Christ. Amen Great sermon Clay pot.
Romans 15:13 “Joy is a matter of Christian duty. it is an intelligent, steady, heart delight in God Himself. Every doctrine of the Gospel, when truly apprehended by faith, will call forth gladness and praise. The Lord has placed no embargo on rejoicing in the knowledge of sins forgiven” - A.W.Pink
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright” (Psalm 33:1).That secret is revealed in 1 John 1:3-4: “Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.”
Great Sermon! One must see the Lord High and lifted up in his or her soul, by the Good news of Christ, and as they do they come down for the first time in their estimation of theirselves. This is God humbling us and it keeps going this way. As you received the Lord so walk in him Colossians 2:6 Then and only then can a sinner such as us see the Lord as OUR ALL.
CHRIST IS ALL! Our brother Job said: “that which I see not teach Thou me” (Job 34:32). God hath performed all His good word toward us: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart”. "Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified" (Ps 40:16). who is anointed with the oil of gladness. Our brother Clay has declared that true happiness is found in our Lord Jesus Christ. By the grace of God, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding" (Pro 3:13).
Great Sermon God has given us His written Word, and spared not to give us His Son, the Living Word, who is His Servant and a Covenant to His people; He is the Living Word, who is a quickening Spirit, within each of His sheep; He is Christ in (us) the hope of glory, and God has given us the mind of Christ. LORD, quicken me that I might remember all the promises we inherit earned by our Substitute and Representative, the Lord Jesus Christ who is even now making intercession for me. God, foreknew me and predestinated my being called, and justified; having judged the Lamb slain for my sin, that He might quicken and conform me to the image of His Son.
Great Sermon! Thanks be to God and to the Lord Jesus Christ for such mercy and grace to His bruised reeds and smoking flax. Thank you Clay for bringing this tender message to we sinners.
Great Sermon! God even God thru the gospel of Christ, overcomes the sheep's unbelief cause he cannot deny himself. He cannot deny whom he was given and whom he loves eternally. I am persuaded of this. Great encouragement brother Clay Pastor Clay. You been preaching this same lovely Bread all these years. Lovely bread.
Great Sermon! The Word of God is great spoil (treasure) Christ overflows my heart and soul when I find myself with no strength. My earthly wisdom my earthly spoil is made to me as nothing n Dung. And thank God by his gospel that he Himself has become to me all my treasure.
Glory to God and the Living Word God's covenant purpose; God's Lamb and His people; God's salvation for His glory, our joy and comfort here now, and much more in eternity the in the presence of His holiness, His Son and the church at eternal rest worshipping our Lord and King Jesus Christ.
Glorious Mediator!!! “to fulfill the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory; whom we preach But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— “these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God; In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed” … God, when it pleased Him, to reveal His Son in me and made known that He has shown mercy to such as I, Oh ….... “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me” had He not declared it so!!
