“ Great Sermon! ” When I lie down when I wake up you are with me. What a comforting thing to know. God the fathers hand was upon his son Jesus Christ not because of his own sin but because of ours. Jesus said in the Psalms your hand is heavy upon me. When we come to God in Christ we are always and only confessing we killed Christ, we were the reason he had to die for us so that he would save us.
“ Great Sermon! ” But Abner (Jacob trixter I) loves to be in control, but God subdues my Abner and causes me to be okay with that by his spirit and give him ALL THE GLORY. My Abner meant it for evil but God but Jesus turns it for good
“ Great Sermon! ” Well of Christ satisfies MY soul. 💦 Refreshing ☺️ Christ is refreshing indeed. the First hour and every hour after that. But only as we hear the gospel that his hand is heavy upon us to see our wells are literally empty and we see that's a good thing, because only then will we get our all from Him that satisfies.
“ Great Sermon! ” God's sovereignty is showing me that our inward man the flesh is crucified and dying daily and this is the part of our life that is dying daily. And our inward man is being renewed in us daily. Christ in us is conquering and victorious. I see it now. Must listen sermon.
“ Great Sermon! ” Rest does not come by us observing God's old or new covenant commands, but by the Holy Spirit drawing us again and again to Christ who is our rest. Hebrews 4:9 and Christ is the end of the law for Righteousness to them who Believe/trust In Him alone. Romans 10
“ Great Sermon! ” The dryness of the desert is my sin nature and my daily sin. And even deeper my soul doesn't even seek help from my God. But God in his deep well of resources keeps giving and giving and giving to me The sinner. He keeps on filling me overflowing me when I do not deserve it, this is true riches and I'm humbled by it. Awesome awesome awesome God God God. His cleansing blood and cleansing Waters of his word washes away all my sin. Past presence and Future, this is truly Amazing Grace
“ Great Sermon! ” Very very very comforting that God restores us individually cause I've sinned at least once since I have typed this message in. Praise God for his Great Mercy.
“ Great Sermon! ” Fear not only believe. 31 times for everyday God admonishes is to fear not. But in our daily fears, we just cannot muster up Faith. This is meant to be so that God gets to save/deliver us again out of our most dreaded fears. He thus gets all the glory. Anen You cannot add 1 cubit to your trouble, you we cannot lift our selves out of anything. This way when we're Truly Weak he is strong.
“ Hab 2:2 - Isa 8:20 ” A simple, clear and distinct message by brother Clay reminds me that preaching the same thing (Salvation is a Person) is indeed not grievous, but safe, as he declares the determinate counsel, will and act of God in having mercy upon this sinner. “Believing God is a miracle of God's grace. It comes as a surprise to the sinner. For the first time he hears good news in the preaching of the Gospel. Christ has been formed within him. What a happy day!-C.Curtis
