Superb Radio Program This was done at PS on the air, James White was in the studio and Riplinger joined by calling in (I think she did 3 episodes on the show before this one), and the discussion was eye opening to the deceptiveness, the lies, the misrepresentations, etc. of G.A. Riplinger.
The most flabbergasting part is when when Riplinger says, "The Lord calls it the NASV" she's basically saying that she heard God calls the NASB the NASV.
(After she says the lexicons are not pure) she says, "If you look at the works of men, without the working of the Holy Spirit it is not perfect." wouldn't that mean we shouldn't listen to Gail Riplinger?
And when she says we shouldn't go back to the Greek, now I think Tyndale, Erasmus, and the KJV translators, would find that to be a ludicrous idea. But hey, when you have your name as G.A. Riplinger (as she said it stood for God and Riplinger) who are we to judge?
Great Sermon! To be honest brother. You sound ignorant of the things you talk about. I support you work, but like my other “white” brothers in Christ is that you are blind to the sins of our nation. This “Farher of our fathers” romancing of American history is disheartening
Great discussion Great discussion on Mormonism with Dr White repeatedly reminding everyone the clear difference between the Mormon's viee of the Trinity and historic Christianity.
Good Radio Free Geneva That dear John Piper "song" was as eloquent as a dying crow. That "Though you slay me" is a truly beautiful song, and the John Piper quote in it is convicting, it is walking by faith, which is hard to do, but as Christians we are commanded to walk by faith.
Hmm I agree with Francesco, Professor Flowers was very distracted, I don't think Professor Flowers knew much about Calvinism even though he claims to be a former Calvinist,
I didn't see any exegesis on his part, that was unfortunate, I have never had a "Non Calvinist" explain to me how a child of wrath can even desire to love God? How can a dead man desire life? How can a child of the devil desire to be a child of God?
I don't see how a "non Calvinist" can avoid being a universalist, if Christ died for every single person, then no one would be in Hell.
Great Sermon! Thank you for qualifying your statements about literacy due to digitization. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has felt the sting of criticism aimed at my entire generation as if the statements applied to every single person. I know it’s a little thing, but I just really appreciated hearing that today, that has noticed that a few of us at least are really trying to live up to a higher standard.
Open Phones. Woo-Hoo I really like when there's the "open phone" DL, the last call was very interesting, I actually was reading a review on a book by Ron Rodes, and it was a Catholic saying that Justin Martyr mentioned the Eucharist, Justin is an early Christian, therefore the Eucharist is what Christ wants us to do.
Now someone needs to ask an ultra weird question about Reformed KJVonly Black Hebrew Israelite Mormons...just to throw Dr. White off :)
Mostly good Everything was great and informative, definitely going to listen to it again and take notes, the only thing is that it got...well just plain weird, I heard, "This is a family friendly radio program" so I thought, "Hmm, wonder what he has to say that would give that disclaimer"
Well...the facts that Rich said was right, but I think Rich should've not mentioned that, so avoid the last ten minutes and it should be good.
Thank You!!! Thank you for that excellent discussion! I was not even aware of those text issues and I am very thankful to learn more about where Jewish people are coming from. I’m sure this will come in handy some time, hopefully soon.
I'm Grateful For You Hey Dr White,
Hope you see this message. Just want to say thank you for your consistent and enlightening Biblical exegesis. Your teaching and debates have helped me to share the truth of the Gospel with love and confidence to Muslim friends, Roman Catholic family members and strangers outside of abortion facilities and in my daily life. I love you brother. May God continue to use you for His glory for many years to come.
Your Sister In Christ,
Cheryl
Great Sermon! This series has been very informative and fun to listen to, this series on Mormonism has been really great, hopefully it will continue to be a blessing to Christians who wish to be more equipped to share the gospel with Mormons.
I think Rich should do more DL series. Keep it up guys.
Thank you... Brother, thank you for your balanced gospel centeredness. I give thanks to God that I got to see the blessed fellowship you have with Michael Brown before being exposed to this new extra-biblical vitriol that (Popishly!) Declares men like him to be unsaved. It seems those who add to the gospel are in more danger than those who are inconsistent about their part in it. I pray the church will shrug off such influences. Carry on in Christ, brothers!
Great Sermon! It is good to now stop and hear some discernment from those who have followed the whole Michael Brown thing from both sides ...
'Simon Kok is a big fan of Dr. James White’s Dividing Line, gives a loving response from a Dutch Calvinist perspective. Simon lives in Finland where he attends a pentecostal church.'

A real and needful word of wisdom on the main issues re: Michael Brown, especially JD v JW
Interesting discussion! Is the debates with Brown on the spiritual gifts available on Sermon Audio? Would love to listen to it. Interesting discussion and a lot of food for thought. I truly agree with Dr White's views on consistency and orthodoxy, just a bit confused on how Sola Scriptura and prophecy/revelations from God can coexist... I know how Brown explained it but it if God is speaking directly to someone and what the individual claims is said matches up wth Scripture, I don't see how that personal revelation would not be just as authoritative as Scripture. If God is speaking, it's authoritative. I don't see anyway around that and therefore anyway to reconsile Sola Scripture and receiving personal revelations.
Great DL Great discussion, slander and keyboard (a nickname for pulpit and pen) are really off, they set themselves up as the judge, jury, and executioner, especially in this case it's good to see that two brothers in Christ discuss the accusations, and to hear what the defendants has to say.
I have listened to Dr. Michael Brown a couple times, he's a great testimony of being salt and light to the world, he has done so much and has a great love for Christ. I can't believe Christians would show such hatred towards both Dr. James White and Dr. Michael Brown.
Great DL
