Ohhhh, how glorious is the message of Salvation! This is nothing less than the Gospel message, which preaches a tale of a Good God and a bad man! Pastor Al doesn't let anyone who would argue for their basic goodness roll with the Gospel's tackle; He grabs hold like a bulldog and doesn't let go until they forget their own rightousness. Oh, God Bless you and your ministry, Pastor Al! :-)
Great Sermon! WOW! Pastor Martin hits it on the head. If his message were preached constantly since its inception maybe rap and metal and rock and so called CCM would not be stealing the young away from the Lord today.
Great Sermon! Hope that you could also advise me how I can have the text downloaded so that our Bible Study could do a series of Financial Stewardship #1 to #5. Please advise. Thanks Dean Allen for this wonderful insights!
From Luke (Singapore)
Great Sermon! This sermon is a great and wonderful sermon, and just as Albert martin has preached it with power, and it is the truth thanks rev Martin for having the love of God in your heart and having the courage and love to present the truths of the scripture.. A man must be born again to inter the kindom of heaven. This a must for a person to GO TO heaven, thanks again brother Albert Martin
Great sermon to hear and give out on CD Trinity Baptist has posted this excellent sermon in a high quality MP3 format on another web page. They have also provided a cue-sheet and instructions which describe a procedure for burning this sermon onto an Audio CD with very helpful individual tracks and CD text that describes the Sermon Title, the Speaker and Track Titles.
There are also other hi-fi mp3 sermons posted. Follow the link from their Sermonaudio home page: tbcnj.sermonaudio.com.
Great Sermon! The entire series is excellent. I've been encouraged in my Christian life and witness. I've been encouraged in my prayer life. The highlights for me were the section on "Joy" in Living the Gospel. Also, the statements "you're scared too? yeah..we're in this together" (Need of the Spirit #1) greatly encouraged me. Many thanks to Pastor Martin and TBC for making these sermons available. May God bless you all greatly!
Great Sermon! Wow! What a message! So many people are sitting in Churchs today thinking they are saved while they live a life of sin and excuse it away. I pray that this message will be heard in every Church, everywhere. Thank you Bro. Martin for being God's man and preaching the truth.
Great Sermon! We need more preaching like this. It troubles me, as I am sure it troubles many, that many in the pulpit today are preaching a "feel good" message, or how to get rich, instead of the truth. They never preach that the "gospel of God is the power unto salvation for everyone that believes." In other words, God is sovereign in salvation; nevertheless he is not willing that any should perish, and has provided the gospel message to draw men to repentance and then to salvation by grace through faith. Repentance is absolutely necessary for salvation; therefore the sinner must come to be convicted for his sin and led to repentance, before he or she can be saved by the grace of God. The preaching of the message of the one-time perfect substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the propitiation for sin is necessary. So, preachers should preach about the utter lost state and separation from God of sinful man and then preach Christ as the good news of salvation by His Cross! That is the higher calling when you are called to preach. Lead men to the place the Holy Spirit can convict of sin, then the necessity of repentance, then lead them to Christ! People get saved only if they come by way of the strait and narrow gate! It is God Who sovereignly calls and saves, but He uses His Word!
Eye Gate Needs to be Guarded Why would anyone want to have images of a man playing Christ forever burned into their souls? Why would one who follows the unseen Christ by faith want to have any images intrude into their mind and heart while before the throne of grace? What about the 2nd commandment? How can we as Christians be "entertained" by such violence? I heartily agree with Pastor Martin. The images of that film will no doubt come into Christians minds when they ought not to. But what can we expect from a Christianity that has adopted the image driven philosphy of this present age. Where the written word is of less importance that it has ever been. Two books which all Christian should read, "The Vanishing Word" by Authur W. Hunt III and "Amusing Ourselves to Death" by Neil Postman, to get grip on how the word has been replaced by image. Also John McCarther's "Ashamed of the Gospel"
Great Sermon! Anything by Al Martin is worth hearing, and even worth a second hearing. No time is wasted listening to this man. Every word is food for the soul and health to the inner man. Of, course God gave Him the thoughts, ideas, and everything else used in the message, so the True Honor and Glory goes to God Almighty.
I can relate to Pastor martin's testimony... ...when at the end of this sermon he mentions about the time he emptied sand buckets, and cleaned urinals back in 1954,for it is my lot in life to do this work every day, not as a student graduate, but as a 51 year old, trying to provide for my family,so i am not worse than an infidel !Bless you dear brother Martin, for this sermon which was so encouraging to help me continue to work as unto Christ ,and for His smile, and not as a manpleaser, and so working with my hands,i can have the joy of giving to those who have need, as unto the Lord Himself.Thank thee Lord for bringing this sermon into my life just at the time i need it.
Thank God for this timely Word in this Lawless Age May God use this fiery message to enkindle many a cold heart that has been dampened by the spirit of this lawless age. May His Spirit fill us with the zeal of His love to the very end. Amen
Great Sermon! This sermon is a Spirit filled and will open your eyes to what the Scripture say about how we are to walk before the Lord. Excellent sermon!
Best movie The Passion of Christ is the greatest movie I have seen. It shows us a gist of our Lord's suffering for us. Jesus' love for us. As Christians, we must acknowledge Jesus Christ. We must not forget TRUE history. I thank Mel Gibson for trying (against media bullying) to bring Christ's message to us, in his way.
Simply Gospel; profound Truth; Glorious Savior. Thank God for faithful ministers who preach the marvelous Gospel of the crucified Christ of whom neither saints nor sinnters will ever get tired of hearing. Let preach Him, brothers, till we see Him in glory. May God bless your good work.
