Another Great Sermon! Very good follow-up to part one. While I would not agree with every point made, I wholeheartedly agree with the overall message. In emphasizing the fact that Christians are under a New Covenant, the New Calvinists go far beyond what is allowed in Christian liberty. And as Chris Hand points out, separation from error is a forgotten doctrine. While I was aware of Piper's association with the blasphemous Mark Driscoll, I did not know that the likes of Todd Bentley and the NAR were also welcome. God help many to receive discernment and leave this dangerous movement. Thanks again for another important sermon on this topic!
Great Sermon! AMEN & AMEN!!! As others have commented previously, this message is needed as much today as when it was first preached. The New Calvinists lack the fear of God found in the believers of old. Edwards, Spurgeon and Bunyan would be the first to speak out against this perversion of the Doctrines of Grace. Thank you, Chris Hand!
Great Sermon! Thank you DrNeedham! This is SO interesting and informative and so full of Christ. As a converted Catholic I know that Mary persecuted the true church but I didn't really know why Protestant executed Catholics until now! Once again, thank you.
Great Sermon! Great presentation. Appreciate the historical and personal context on Calvin. A godly human being, neither comic book hero nor monster. Thank you, Brother Needham.
Great Sermon! I learned a lot from this bio. I quoted Foxe Sunday while teaching Pilgrims Progress but knew so little about him. Definitely will be listening to more from Needham
Great Sermon! What a great observation of repentance quoting Robert Leighton (1611-1684). Who indeed is able to assume that on any day they will be able to repent?
Mr Needham is new to me but I shall look out for him henceforth.
Watch and pray We must watch in order to discern the will of the Lord and to live for His glory. Because we want to hear one day those words: "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
Good warning. How sad to not watch over our love and attitude toward our Savior and grow cold in our relationship with Him! Lord, make me warmer, not colder!
Great truth. Praise the Lord that He knows how to keep His children in all circumstances of the life! Nothing comes into our lives except what He allows for our spiritual education. I have problems when I forget this truth.
