Great Sermon! This is high-quality information. I benefitted from learning about the origins of the SDA movement, because I knew little about it. Christians should keep this series in their libraries.
Great Sermon! This is worth carefull attention and would be a great help to evaluate 'our' own personal evangelistic 'techniques' in the light of the Word of God. It might well help explain why 'our' own personal converts sometimes do not cut the mustard and backslide continually from day one(!?) or saoon fall away completely(?), or worse still- ever living in perpetual sin- yet clinging to some distant past, vain repetition, manufactured sinners prayer (false gospel?), BUT NO REAL saving experience and living reality of Jesus Christ.
Could the serious fault dare I say be that of our own making in a day of easy believism? Consider the consequences of preaching any watered down gospel- another gospel...a terrifying thought for both preacher and hearer so consequently deluded.
It is always wise and good to examine our very own selves first ... II Corinthians 13: 5. Can we 'evangelicals' be so seriously mistaken?
Great Sermon! Wonderful tribute, is this the same Hillis that I served with in R.U.C during 1958 before I joined the Met.in London.I had a wonderful letter from him about 1959 when he turned to Christ and put me in the right direction ?
Great Sermon! God will certainly accomplish that which He pleases...this sermon is a great encouragement to continue in our evangelism no matter how discouraging our efforts 'appear'. An excellent sermon.
I had also providentially heard this morning: 'Testimony Attests the Importance of Gospel Witness, Open-Air Evangelism in London'
(The Heart of the Matter · 21 of 23- Ralph Overdal)

Pastor Kevin Keenan giving testimony as a former Roman Catholic how he was converted having accepted a Christian Evangelistic Tract.
Hearing both sermons is sure to be a great blessing and encouragement to witness!
Great Sermon! Finally, someone has addressed this unpopular subject properly, without trying to twist the scriptures or make excuses as to why this should not be practiced in our individual church communities. This is a custom of the Church which serves as a sign to the world system that we are a distinctive people. Let the world do as it pleases, God will judge those outside the Church, but for us who claim to be Christians, let us proudly maintain the Godly order of the Church. Is it so much to ask for women to subscribe to this simple thing, in light of the great salvation God has given to us??
Great Sermon! Thank you,Rev Hamilton, for this encouraging message about our God's sovereign ability to save to the uttermost those who place their trust in Jesus as Saviour and Lord, and the requirement of sincere repentance in this process. No matter that the wasted years be few or many, the contrite heart that comes to our dear Father is assured of rebirth in His kingdom and restoration of the past wastelands. A warning, too, about redeeming the time because the days are evil when spent outside of God's salvation in Christ.
Great Sermon! A great encouragement to trust in our God who will keep His promises according to His own calendar. Patience is not an easy lesson to learn...but God's answers are worth waiting for...and when they do come!
'My soul wait thou only upon God;for my expectation is only from him.' Psalm 62: 5.
Great Sermon! Excellent message!!!
Bro. Stephen Hamilton points out how drinking beverage alcohol will destroy the witness of a Christian. This message is a must for a Christian who believes he has the "liberty" to drink in moderation.
AMEN to the fact that the Bible does not use the word "alcoholic"--but instead uses the word "drunkard". Alcoholism is a euphemism for "drunkenness"-- Moderate drinking is a joke.
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. (Proverbs 20:1)
God bless you, Bro. Stephen Hamilton
WEAR THE HAT! Excellent teaching! One of the sad signs of our times is that the woman no longer wears the hat, in church, and observes God's authority at worship. The church which allows this demonstrates its attack upon the authority of God. In worship the glory of God is to be UNcovered. In worship the glory of man is to be covered. This sign of authority is observed by God's messengers.
If you have a query on this issue then Mr. Hamilton's sermon here is well recommended.
Great Sermon! "Antichrist." Powerful testimony gathered from many great Reformers and Martyrs, whom our history and today is not worthy of. The Papacy IS the Antichrist, - and it is and has been among us for many centuries. Be Warned!
Needed info! The truth must be proclaimed boldly and without apology. Let us thank God that there are still some faithful preachers in this age of blindness.

Papacy antichrist?? This is a great sermon showing not only the biblical basis for believing that the Papacy is the antichrist, but also a historical survey of theologians who have believed the same. Hamilton is learned and godly and both are in evidence in this sermon. Listen and think!!
Great Sermon! THIS MESSAGE HELPED ME VERY MUCH. THE SCRIPTURES WERE EXPOUNDED VERY VERY CLEARLY AND IT WAS JUST A JOY TO HEAR GOOD SOLID BIBLICAL TEACHING. THIS SERMON IS A TEN!
Great Sermon! Interesting that the papacy has never created a Pope Peter II. Is this because of reverence for Peter, or (dare I say it!) an ultimate uncertainty about his being the first pope after all??
Excellent Sermon! Excellent sermon - much needed. Only when discussing the blasphemy of the term 'holy father' one bible text should have been included, Matt.23:9,
"And call no man father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." He is neither holy, nor a father! I rest my case. Regards LM
